Does everyone under 25 go to university.?.Big Night Out started out pretty niche and the 'people that attended university' took to it. Hence the university tour. It was pretty surreal and kinda cerebral. Perfect stoner stuff as well.

@@adriandenton6637 Yes. Stoners and indeed others also liked their stuff. The fact that they appealed to students and in that sense had a student fan base, off the back of which I also guess a university tour was organised, was not an exclusive appeal.

@@alecskinner8807 think it was on pretty late at night on C4 as well.
I loved their comedy show but hated the "game show" format.
Fred Talbot on Shooting Stars.......... Awkward.
Typical BBC bias making a programme about a BBC show and then showing that show on the BBC! Thankfully I don't watch the BBC and I didn't watch this.

Hopefully, one day, Bob will be left the entire Sky TV empire by Rupret Mydick. Then he'll commission a Vic and Bob channel. Then we shall all die with a smile on our faces.

They did do Comedy Connections on New Statesman, which was Yorkshire TV and Spitting Image, which was Central TV.
Never really got it. Few funny bits but generally was crap.

There's not a lot to 'get'. That's probably your problem, trying to make sense of the non-nonsensical. It works at a really fundamental level, like slapstick, which it comprises a lot of.
