Hello friends! For Thanksgiving we love to smoke a turkey breast roast on the Traeger, glazed sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, rolls, a green salad, and some sort of appetizer like bacon wrapped dates and deviled eggs. We go ice fishing in the morning as a tradition!

Sounds like what I make except I make dressing and gravy too. I also serve Kings Hawaiian sweet rolls. Bacon wrapped dates sounds soooooo yummy. I must try that.

apple pears are Nashi Pears - is an Asian Fruit. Sous Vide - French means under vacuum. You season your meat with salt and pepper - not rubs add herbs, garlic to the bag and vacuum seal the bag and cook it at the precise temperature for how you like your meat/chicken etc. in a water bath fro rare to well done. I bought one for my son ages ago. You will find recipes on the internet.

My family makes a recipe with those crispy onions that we all love: 1 6oz box of chicken flavored rice 1 10oz can cream of mushroom soup 1 8oz container of sour cream 1 whole rotisserie chicken 6oz of French fried onions Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare rice according to package directions. While rice is cooking shred the chicken. When rice is done add the can of soup and sour cream. Add the chicken and mix together. Spread into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 40 minutes. Remove from oven, add the onions and bake 5 more minutes and then eat.

Don’t know where you you live in uk but I live down south and I don’t have a problem with anything, certainly not crisps, bin bags, chicken or bread. Even during the last 18 month. Have been able shop’ eat and buy clothes as I always have. Everything I ordered for my family at Christmas last year came through and have already ordered all my gifts and food for a family of 9 without any problems so stop making out we are having problems.

@@gillianemery8331; Hi there Gillian, firstly wow you are super organised go you Mum! Just wanted to add it may depend on where you live in the UK, Melbourne Australia was in hard for 265days and as we had a 5km travel limit where l live in the Western suburbs of Melbourne we would have shortages often but yet someone in South Eastern suburbs may not have, it was a supply chain issue for us as most of the warehouses in the West had skeleton staff and truck drivers due to outbreaks. Hoping that makes sense. Have a great weekend. 🙂

Anotther great Costco haul! I ove the conversations between you and Everett. He is so polite and honest about what he likes and does not like. A friend of ours purchased joggers for his son which seems to be the new fad for school. They were $59.99 per pair! Lol. My part of the menu for Thanksguving consists of ham, green bean casserole, corn pudding, and pumpkin pie. Stay warm and stay safe! Until next time......❤❤❤

Aloha Alaska ohana,(family)! I serve cream cheese stuffed celery at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Add some garlic to cream cheese, as much as you like, spread it into celery that is cut into 5 inches or so, sprinkle some paprika on top, optional, and enjoy. With the fried onions for green bean caserole, use left over in salads, topping for soups or crumple some up in sour cream to top off baked potatoes or to use as onion dip with chips or vegetables. I love watching your videos, they always brighten my day. You have such a beautiful family! Aloha from Kauai.

Expensive but you did stock up and buy some clothes. We stopped buying soda years ago. Even with reduced or artificial sugar, it's really hard on the kidneys and makes you retain fluid. Pepsi plant used to pour it on their tiled loading dock floor to cut the grease and diesel from the rigs. Changed my opinion after watching that. It's a trick used cleaning grills too at fast food places. Ewww Our Thanksgiving is in October and basically the same foods unless wild game or fish is available. Thanksgiving is more a north american thing due to settlement and sharing harvest. You can use those onions with a broccoli salad too or top potatoes au gratin. Thanks for sharing!
