I love being included in your little trips. Probably as close as I will get visiting your area. Willow is the best getting your attention . I am also a subscriber to your channel. Have a wonderful week.
Love your Fine Living channel and look forward to watching on Sundays. My husband and I were traveling around New England last Fall and drove by your home. It was lovely. May you have many peaceful moments in your garden.
My heart is singing this morning. I grew up in Madison down the shore. These were places we went to all the time. Luv the Griz.
I enjoyed your getaway and seeing all the lovely homes. Tagging along on your shopping was a bonus! I love seeing the shops in New England. By the way your gardens are beautiful! All your hard work is truly inspiring to me. I am a subscriber and look forward to your next video! Thank you Linda for sharing your story with us!
The edging really gives a nice, finished look to the garden areas.

I love this trip with you. It’s so fun to see this area as I live in South Texas on the gulf coast. I love that you bought yourself some things. That makes it so fun also. Your garden is looking lovely and like it would be so much work for one person. Glad you are getting some help.Love in Christ
Linda, you went to all my favorite places, Essex/Chester and Mystic! I live about 50 minutes away from Essex, in a small town just outside New Haven. I loved this so much, because I go for the day only, I have never seen the rooms in the Inns. Your gardens are gorgeous, that is a lot of work you did, especially all the edging! My favorite part, of course, is Willow with her head on your lap, precious! 💗
I love when you take us along on your trips ❤
I am a subscriber and really enjoy your videos! Willow's face was so sweet when you got back home, she really missed you.

I am a subscriber from England. Your videos have made me desperately want to visit New England. The scenery as you were driving past countryside with stone walls reminds me of Cornwall they have the same stone walls. You have introduced me to the beauty of peonies they are stunning flowers. Lynda
Oh I love old trees as well Linda. Judy Dench has a short video on her love for trees. It is worth a watch. What beautiful video this Sunday.Thank you for sharing.(Kimberley)

Linda, I so enjoy your fresh content. I too live in NE, but can’t of course see all of it. I love traveling along with you! CT is one place I have not explored. So pretty.
I am a subscriber and love everything you do. I lived in New England and went to college there but now live in North Carolina and enjoy reconnecting with memories from the past. I must make plans to travel back with my adult daughter for a girls weekend/ week!
This video was beautiful! I fell in love with New England las year on our 50th anniversary trip! Here in North Florida we already have had temps of 95!
My husband and I renovated a gambrel cape in Guilford, CT that was built in 1759. We now live in Florida, so I'm really enjoying the views of my family roots.
Such a lovely walk about! Your gardens are looking wonderful too. If the rain would stop here, I am inspired to go out and mulch! Love Willow’s bid for attention, 💜🐾🌸
I so enjoy going along with you on trips to towns like Essex and browsing thru the shops, Inns and beautiful streets with picket fences. It's as if I were there. I look forward every Sunday morning to see what you've got in store for us. I also love it when you're working in your home and garden. Hope you never stop. Thanks Linda. ❤
I enjoyed going on your trip with you! It's been years since I've been to Mystic. My heart loves the interior & exterior look of the homes and towns. I got exhausted just watching the amount of work you have in your gardens. You do beautiful work Linda! You must love it.
Like so many others, I am so happy to have found you and your channel. I subscribed last year, but then went waaaay back and went on a NEFL watching binge! 😂 Thoroughly enjoyed watching your channel progress over the years. I also love listening to your voice. It’s so very calming. I look forward to watching your new videos every week. It’s so nice to be a part of this sweet community! 💗☺️
“Thank you” Linda for sharing your beautiful gift of kindred spirit with us (gives me encouragement). Keep doing you! (Happy subscriber of your relaxing fine living lifestyle)
I don't have a yard yet, but I'm tucking away inspiration from the gardens that I love. Thanks for taking us along to so many beautiful places! I'm a subscriber.
Linda, love this video! While I am from the other side of Connecticut Essex and Mystic have been get aways for us! Everything at Sugarwod is beutiful! I can almost see your blassed in room between the garage and porch!
YES-I AM a very happy subscriber! Like every subscriber here I would love to win this box. I must include the channel is a gift for THIS New Englander. Home, all of New England, is the home of my soul. I really don’t know why, I can’t explain it. I’ve lived here for the greater portion of my adult life. I understand to most New England locals that doesn’t constitute being a native. I accept that. It is however, the place in our country I have loved since childhood and finally came here in my early twenties. In my seventies now, it is my deeply loved home. Discovering your channel Linda, our mutual interests and everything you do had me so excited from the onset. The joy and the journey continue.

Yes, I am a Canadian subscriber. My husband and I plan our Sunday dinner and evening with you each week. We honeymooned in New England 47 years ago next month. We were last there in 2010 and because of your videos…we are hoping to return this fall. Since we subscribed a year ago, we have never missed. You are the beginning to our week….thank you for being you❤️
It must be quite liberating to have the freedom of choice to landscape your own private garden space without the need to contact and request permission from a landlord when renting a property like I am .. I often look forward to your weekly videos and find them quite inspiring Thank you so very much for sharing your own version of fine living whether small or grand ..😊❤️

I understand your plight. We got caught between houses when Covid hit and the lockdown occurred. Thank goodness we were in a little farmhouse rental and the landlady said we could dig a garden. 😅 We still have yet to find a house of our own, but, boy! Am I ever ready to find one!!
Hi Linda, I am a new subscriber. I love, love your channel and we could be sisters from another mother not just kindred spirits. How I wish I lived where you live. New England is just beautiful. I hope to visit and vacation soon. I'll be retired at the end of this year, God willing, and New England is on the top of my vacation list. I purchased Peonies for the first time here in Southern California. I can't believe how magnificent they are. I finally went to the shop where they sell them at just the right time. Your gardens and home are beautiful. Thank you for taking us on your getaways. My home decor and furnishings are also 90% thrifted or gifted. I hope to secure one of your season/holiday boxes this year. I'm on to your website.
My morning walk would be so much more pleasant if I could walk these beautiful streets. The shops, the views and homes... just magical. It feels like you're in a movie scene. My mouth was watering over that salmon lunch! If being a golf widow looks like that.... I would pay my husband to leave! Loved all the beautiful bedrooms at the inn. Being OCD myself... I would just say "excuse me. my OCD is kicking in" and have straightened out that second one that was crazy crooked! Loved the droves and Bens grandparents home. Good memories! And ending up in your garden was a treat . It is looking wonderful. Those stone walls are everything. Being surrounded by such mature, gorgeous trees and woods is so fortunate. Can't wait til next week when its all in bloom.

no more apologizing for ADD or whatever. You are a creative spirit and accomplish so much. The new science celebrates your gift and so should you. I love your programs. They bring me to a place of beauty and peace. Thank you.
What a great vacation spot! Ben's grandparents' home is lovely. I especially love how it sits on the lot. Yesterday, I bought hostas and Russian Sage for a front bed where a holly tree was recently cut down. I'm so happy that it and it's dreaded leaves are gone!
When things begin to bloom, it’s just so beautiful and exciting
Subscribed for a few years now, and enjoy your content very much. As a Rhode Islander living in South Carolina, I’m reminded how beautiful New England is through your work!!!
I love visiting New England through your video trips. I’ve been a subscriber for about a year now and I look forward to your KZread videos every week. You are such an inspiration!
Yes! I am a subscriber, and so enjoy your videos. Though I was born and raised in Oregon, when I visited New England, I kept experiencing a strange feeling that I had lived there, in a former life. Everything seemed so familiar, around every corner. Thank you

I throughly enjoyed seeing Ben’s home, the inn, the garden and just about everything you do🌷
Such a delightful video! Love the shops and beautiful homes. I look forward to seeing what's next on the agenda. Cheers!
I have family who live in this area. Centerbrook and Haddam. It is a very lonely existence. If you are someone who needs entertainment and outings, this area is limited. If you enjoy a low key life style, this area is for you. Before its gentrification, it was nothing but a farm town. You can take the NYC Amtrack to Boston and get off at Saybrook (a seaport town), which will lead you to Essex CT. Should you drive, it's I-95 East and get off either exit 65 or 66. New England in itself is historically beautiful. Look into the Gillette Castle site. Part of it caught fire several years ago but has been restored. BTW, Mystic CT is exit 90 on I-95. A good 30-minute east of Essex. Happy trails!!

I am a longtime subscriber and I love the New England area. My ancestors on my father’s side settled in the New York-Massachusetts area, but my mother was a new emigrant after marrying my father in England. I now live in Michigan. Your videos are my favorite watch for the best of New England fine living. Love to see how ancestors to this country developed the New World.
Such a peaceful planet when I visit with you. I remain grateful.
My favorite to do is following you!! At home or on trips ❤️❤️❤️

I’m a subscriber and have been. I love your channel. I enjoy your home and gardens. Always a pleasure.
Hello Linda, I'm a new subscriber from New Zealand. I often watch your channel : your work ethic is inspiring, and your attention to detail gives awesome results. The areas you visited whilst a golf widow are so beautiful and Ben's family home such a highlight to see. At 73 I am slowing down these days, both my parents and a brother passed away recently and letting go much of the estates is emotionally draining, some days it's enough just to keep myself well presented and shut some doors on the sorting that needs to be done 😞. Thank you for your lovely images,, best wishes.

I am a subscriber from the northern suburbs of Chicago. This week's video was so relaxing and engaging for my quiet Sunday morning - ahhh... Love it - thank you, Linda!
I am a subscriber and I loved the attention to New England architecture. Here in the Midwest, generally there isn’t the history nor the architectural proportions in the buildings. I also loved Ben’s childhood vacation home of his grandfather. The cats in the birdhouse were adorable! Thank you Linda for the beauty you bring!
I am an ongoing subscriber. Thank you for such a wonderful New England living channel
I’m a subscriber… this is usually the only video I watch on Sundays. Sometimes in the car when we go hiking.
The photo of the cats in the bird house is priceless! I’ve been a subscriber for several years - Love your videos.
I spent my Sundays with you. I so enjoy watching and would love to visit some of the places you share. I am a subscriber . Love, love your channel. Thanks from Texas
Thank you Linda for showing the prettiest area of my home state, CT. I absolutely love the southeastern shore towns. Great season for peonies this year. They are so big and tall everywhere. Can’t wait to see you in that dress😍
I love the East coast! So beautiful! Thank you for taking me along. Breathe taking.
I am so glad that I found something that touches my soul. I just know that a part of me is in that area where my ancestors landed from England. Your excitement , your gift of design, your travels and your gardening gives me so much of a boost. I just love Sugarwood the property is so fabulous. Thank you for your time in sharing. Your friend from Knoxville TN
Linda, OMG!!! What a beautiful video full of so much inspiration! BTW..."someone is feeling a little needy" made me 😂.
I’m a subscriber from PA and the videos. Your channel is informative, relaxing, and filled with beautiful nature.
Though I've never had the pleasure of visiting Connecticut, I am very grateful for the opportunity to admire its stunning, shared scenery.
Discovered your channel at the beginning of the pandemic and still enjoy it so much. Originally from the northeast but relocated to Florida in 2006. Although my decor has changed, I enjoyed colonial style for many years. ❤
