I appreciate you showing the different types of treatment and explaining what you're doing! Thinking about going into aesthetic nursing from medsurg and your videos are helpful. Is your hourly rate at the medspa around the same as what you were getting paid as an inpatient nurse?

It’s more actually! About $10 an hour more plus tips plus commission.

Hi! I love your channel :) I’m looking at switching from ED to aesthetic nursing. Would you recommend taking an aesthetic or esthetician program or classes in for me to become more competitive? The field is over saturated with applicants, as everyone is trying to escape hospital nursing 😂 how can I stand out??

At my med spa yes you do have to be an RN, but I’ve heard at other places you can just become “laser certified”. In the future I’ll be doing Botox, dermal filler, etc!

Is your hourly a normal nursing wage or lowered?

It’s about $10 an hour more than I made doing labor and delivery nursing!
