Was it hard to find parking in the gulch and does it cost to park?

There was a parking garage at our hotel so we didn't have to worry about finding parking elsewhere! If I'm remembering correctly, we passed by a few parking lots that offered day rates, or you could park on the street. I do believe you have to pay to park on the street though, but I could be wrong!
