Yey, I loved this! You both found such beautiful clothes 😍 Also that frilly collar thing is called a jabot ( pron. dja-bow) in French. My mom had a bunch of shirts with those kind of collars but as someone who grew up watching Seinfeld I just can't seem to find a way to wear them without thinking of Jerry's pirate shirt. Maybe I'll get inspired by how you'll style it.

I cannot wait to see you ALL style up those pieces. The only market in the LA area that I've been to is the Long Beach Flea....so much good stuff, but yes I remember having to go early because it got HOT.

The neck trick is useful, but only for skinny/athletic gals. We curvier/bigger hipped girls cannot do it. Ask me how I know! :-/

That is so true. My measurements are 24 waist and 38 hips. See what I mean? I have to place the hip of the pants at my hips and the seem must be a little wider than my hipline. Then I know it will fit my tush.

@@deethegardengirl Yes! Also, for pants I have to go up a couple sizes if I'm buying men's trousers/shorts! Evidently the hip area is just differently shaped (and if I buy men's I want bottoms to be looser/oversized) and if I buy my size it won't fit or fit awkward.

The neck trick is a tip that should be adjusted depending on your body type. For me, I find that if the waistline is too tight around my neck, it’s actually a perfect fit for me. You might be different and find that the right size actually overlaps around the neck. Adjust accordingly to what works for you!

The Aloha reversible jacket isn't vintage or likely Janet Jackson's haha. I thrifted that same jacket new with the tags on about a year ago. It's from Express in collaboration with Seven7. It did retail pretty high though at $198.00 if I remember right.

I think it is important to mention with the pants trick that it only really works with straight sized people. It doesn’t work well for plus sized people.

I work in retail and we all really get it but a lot of stores do not have the capacity to safely allow for trying on. The fitting rooms are in tight quarters & everything would also need to be quarantined for 24 hours. It's extremely hard to do logistically. I know my store has extended the return policy so people can try on at home & have enough time to return their unwanted items.

But if your outside it's no problem with the aerosoles... They get diffused very quickly. I actually wondered why they were masks at all. There's no need if you keep the distance to others. But I understand: the situation in the U. S. is much worse than where I live, Germany.

@@bastelkiste2242 as you are all time moving, it's impossible to not cross with nobody. Anyways, the aerosols actually stay more than two hours in the air, but only few people actually knows that. I'm a doctor. In Spain. And I can say you that in places like these, you HAVE to wear a mask on, it's very important. I am sorry about my English, I'm not the best🙃
