My daughter studied in Pittsburgh a few years back and said jokingly any one for New York on New Years, long story short we went over for Christmas and while we were in Pittsburgh Paige said I will take you to good will , oh my god it was like walking on a huge supermarket, I said it’s cruel to bring me in here when I carnt get most of it home, we live in the uk buy between four of us we had a trolly full to which my husband said you know we carnt take all this home, to which said well some won’t fit or look right but we did buy loads and at such great prices, I’m envious of the charity shop you guys have but you got some beautiful pieces loved the spotted dress with the white buttons going up the side and the pink blouse so cute.

Hi, I'm new to your channel. You are a very nice person and your husband also. Sorry to ask, but I often see in videos, that American coffee shops only sell coffee in paper/ plastic cups when people drink their coffee in the shop. Is that common? Why don't they use normal ceramic cups and clean them and so reduce the amount of waste? Here in Germany it is common to drink out of normal cups in a Cafe. I also would like to suggest to bring your own big reusable bags when you go thrifting to reduce the waste of plastic bags.

Sadly I was on a trip without my sustainable bags or mugs, so I had to go the paper and plastic route. I lived in Birmingham (many) years ago, familiar with the area where the LoveLady store is - that store is in an old Circuit City! You were very close to my favorite thrifts, King's Home Thrift (formerly the Jimmie Hale Mission Store) - I thought that might be one of your stops. @@jodyporta2188 Nebraska. Do you flip thrifted fashions? I want to try, but I'm nervous about messing it up. I currently have 3 pairs of silk pants, all too big. I figured the silk is worth so much more than the price of the pants, why not? But I have had very little success making pants from scratch, that trying to alter them without a good base to start from is a recipe for disaster! So I keep hanging on to them. LOL

Lol I watched this whole video in hopes of getting a better look at the pants you were wearing in the clip. Do you think you could repurpose/thrift flip a pair of pants and make them like those Gray overall pants?

You absolutely could thrift flip a pair to look like them! It would just depend on how much extra fabric you have in order to make the suspenders!

What is the brand of the lime green suit, and the black and white polka dot dress?!

I follow the rule that vintage is anything between 20 and 99 years old, antique is anything older than that. Most people don’t consider anything younger than 50 years old vintage though. Thanks for watching!

Ps You seem to love Orange. (I have watched a few of your videos) But you look so much better in greens (ie cool shades) Orange shades do nothing for you ( avoid warms) I guess you must be a summer or winter...i am guessing a summer
