Value Village hikes up their prices on anything of value. Even when I fine good stuff, they're wanting 15 to 30 dollars for it.

I see to salvation army is looking up comparing ebay prices here in canada.saw a item and they had a ebay listing price beside it at salvation army saying what it was worth . I personally don't think that's fair.

Unfortunately I live in the “rust belt “ near Cleveland Ohio and brands like these are just not available to thrift. I do buy my clothing and shoes at Savers and the Goodwill but the brands are never designer quality. It is so frustrating as I want to be a reseller

I know that u could find other RE-SALE shops that take donations in high end communities where uppity people live ,also church sales there and then estate sales also , upon which u will become familiar with as a regular customer , this is a little bit of a different strategy but it should work for u

I hate that too. I live in Cumberland Md and we just dont have the good high end items. I do know for a fact of some workers at some of the thrift stores are setting stuff out the back doors then picking it up after hours. So sad. They dont even give us a chance. Its picked over b4 it hits the racks to sell.

Yes! More thrift videos. I've seen other channels thrift videos but have to say yours was very enjoyable. Like how you froze the screen just a couple of seconds so we can look at the tag. Many just fly threw it and I'm constantly rewinding to get a better look at the tag. Also the layout of the video was very well thought out. Kept it up!! your journey and energy have been an inspiration for me. Started reselling in June, like you in the beginning I have no idea what I'm doing but getting the hang of it. People think I'm crazy for wanting to leave a good job for reselling, but, that is the goal!😅Not to get sentimental on KZread but just know that you have made a difference on one of your viewers. She’s very fortunate, the best thing I find is tommy bahama and it’s overpriced at 16.00. That thrift store is high end period

I just sold a Norwegian wool sweater, just like that with toggle closures for $90. It only took about 2 weeks for it to sell. So aim high, you never know.

Kimchee Blue shoes have a "Walking Heel" Not Kitten. Kitten is an upside down pyramid not a stacked leather block.. Kitten heel is 1 to 1 1/2 inch heel like a High Heel for very tall women or women who don't want higher spikes..

I resell 60% Men's clothing, 30% men's shoes and mixed hard goods for everyone. Roughly 10% goes towards women's clothing/shoes.I always look through women's jackets to find mens jackets and vice versa. I would like to change those percentages up and your channel is a big help. Thank you

I’m love your videos. Sometimes as much as I love it, it gets overwhelming and some days it is easy to get discouraged. Butttt it is part of my retirement plan and I know once I get a more streamlined listing routine, it will become sourcing/listing maintenance. I learned a BIG tip tonight from watching videos. I did not know how much I could customize the listings page and add my item location right there!

Wonderful video--thank you! I love picking up 'new with tags' garments to resell on eBay. There are 8 thrift stores within about 6 miles of my house. I also shop clearance racks when merchandise is reduced 80 - 90%. I feel like I'm in a meteor shower of garments and hard goods coming at me. I sell as a fund-raiser for my favorite charity... from Grandma Bunny--not the dumbest blonde in Arizona!

You had mentioned (maybe last video?) that eBay listings aren't supposed to show up organically anymore if they are advertised. Last night I listed an item and then I was searching a keyword used I first saw the listing organically, then I went to page 2 of newly listed and there was the advertised listing. So I thought that was odd, unless that isn't into effect yet.

Where the heck do you thrift? I live in the Atlanta area, and shop in many different thrift stores - and NEVER see anything like the shoes & clothing you find, in brands or in price. Is there some trick to this that I need to learn? I am so envious! I want to go thrifting, but it will probably just leave me frustrated. I enjoyed this video anyway, and appreciated the way you dropped work for a moment when your child came in, rather than becoming irritated or brushing him off. Your priorities are exactly right.

I did find a pair of mens Gucci horsebit, yes authentic. Couldn't sell them around my area. Idk if I even still have them somewhere. If I do and I find them, they're definitely going on Ebay. But they'll probably take them off. It seems some brands they wont let u sell.

Love the thrifting vid. I stopped in GW tonight for a quick walkthrough and got a Patagonia flannel shirt that will do well. Also 3 other pieces. I love the vids because it helps me Id women’s brands. My wife has no interest so I am on my own. I get some weird looks while I shoot through ladies dresses and use terms like an “A line Shift” and “kinda boho style”. Picked up some nice Tory Burch shoes because of you and they did well.
