You made a really good point about when you find something that is 'kinda close' to what you want , you get it anyway but then keep looking for the thing you actually want. Then you end up with a closet full of almost-dupes if you don't get rid of the 'close but not quite right' things. I've definitely done that. The green linen shirt was a great find even if it's not for this season. I always pick up linen shirts when I find them because they are just so nice in summer and they are quality and timeless.

that white dress would be PERFECT as a pirate costume if you put a corset over it and your knee high black boots

Alexa, I love how mindful you are when thrifting - being careful not to excessively buy things with the excuse of 'going green' and really considering if you would use it! I find it so relatable and real, the experience of going thrifting and being tempted by the cheaper prices but still not wanting to contribute to clothing waste!
