My husband says the same thing about the smell of thrift stores. He appreciates that I don’t mind , find the gems and bring them home for us to enjoy. A few days ago I accidentally discovered a brand new thrift location and found a fancy towel warmer that had been on his amazon wish list. Paid $9 , my husband was so surprised!

I'm not sure how much you actually appreciate the thrift stores in your area but the ones in South Central Kentucky USA "ain't nothing like that". I'm amazed how neat and well organized they look. Not to mention the size of the stores and the quality of the merchandise.

There’s always hope for your husband!! lol! I’ve been married 25 years and mine has always said the same thing!! However, our new weekend routine since last Fall is going to estate sales and garage sales together!! He finally pulled into the thrift store parking lot yesterday…🙌😂 they were closed though so I guess it will be next weekend before I see if he will finally love it or not! Haha

That Copper pot would be pretty to set a Christmas tree in, with the right decor. Girl no matter how many brass or copper tea kettles i have, if i find one at a great price like that one, its coming with me😁 But i love displaying collections of things like that on top I kitchen cabinets! Old coffee grinders, old tins, and other old kitchen things. Oh Wow the blue & white platter was gorgeous & great price too! I want to collect all the different colors of transfer ware in platters, plates & saucers to do a plate wall in my kitchen when we get moved! I'd love to thrift an Insta pot.. they are amazing! Hey even if the bag is A knock off, its still cute! My son bought his wife one of the real canvas ones for her b'day when they were dating.. not about to pay that price😬 Honestly, i like the size & the leather look of that one! I'd love to know where it actually came from! Great find!!❤ Girl the first week we got to Florida i bought a pair of the black faux Birkenstocks.. wear them pretty much all the time.. love them, super comfy! I want to go back & get the brown ones if they still have them. Oh love the shades too! I go to men's in the thrift stores & buy the long sleeve thinner cotton button ups, like white, blue & white stripe or tiny gingham, jean or chambray.. you can get Ralph Lauren, Izod, nice brands for so cheap! I like them to wear over tee's, tanks or swimsuits or in a restaurant when its chilly. And a men's size small is perfect! Also buy the men's band tee's, even new, they just fit better, not cut as tight and i don't like anything too tight especially in summer.. of course the long sleeves won't get as much wear now that I'm in Florida🥵 I live in tee's & like the silk running or gym shorts its just so hot! Or linen shorts.. and linen pants if i wear pants, too hot for jeans right now! I hope to thrift some linen pants! Really cute planter, love the diy you did & how you styled it❤ My hubby loves the cheaper prices😄 I've not gone thrifting here in Florida yet waiting til we find a place (we're with my son & his wife & baby) but I'm so overwhelmed! There's 10 thrift stores in less than 6mi., 11 more just ten min up the road & 41 within a 20mi radius🤯 Haven't even ckd the antique stores yet, i do know theres big antique mall in Tampa, that's just 30min away. There A huge habitat restore with a big thrift store beside it just up the road i want to hit first.. to look for furniture pieces. But I should be able to ck off most everything on my hunt/wish list😄 I'm super excited to get back out for sure! I'll be like a kid in a candy store its been so long.. told a friend i was having DT's😂 Enjoyed the video, thanks for taking us along & sharing!

@@elizabethdipetta6872 Well thank you, i totally enjoy being here!! And I do consider you to be my friend😊 We're actually moving here, my husband started on his job this morning. Of course the ministry side of things will take awhile to get in place. We had A recovery home back in Tennessee, which i miss so much, but along with the church we attend in Tampa, my DIL's fathers & grandfather's church, we want to start a next step home & program. So when the guys graduate they can come here, or anyone that's graduated from any recovery program. We want to help them in getting back to living sober.. finding work, setting up budgets to help them manage their money, just learning about the 'new' person they have become, a support system, counseling, all those type things. And most importantly, having them in church & teaching them about God & living for Him. My DIL's grandmother is a licensed counselor, been doing this type thing for years. And that's what I did back in TN, just teaching them how to be a brother, son, husband, about cleanliness, being on time, organization skills, those type things. My husband, my DIL'S dad & grandpa are all pastors. So we hope to find a house or whatever within the next year after we get settled in good, and get the program started. Keep us in prayer for that! But yes soon as we get a little more financial freedom, I'll be hitting all the stores!! Lol I'm super excited!! Where will you be coming to? I may know of some places you can ck out!

Where was this? I needed those green stemmed wine glasses - I have 5 I need to complete the set lol location please

I went to our V and v today looking for baskets, China plates to put under plants and flower pots.Didnt get any of that and when l found flower pots they still had dirt in them! Tell me who drops off dirty things are you that lazy that you couldn't take a minute to wash it....l don't get it.l did find a apothecary jar for $6 and when l went to pay they have 4 self check outs and 1 till first time seeing this.Not a great experience for sure!
