As someone with arthritis in my hands, I buy washing stuff in bulk and decant into smaller bottles which are easier for my dodgy hands to handle. I do find home bargains more affordable than B&M, but it is nice to see what available in alternative stores just to make sure I am getting value for money.

Same problem and I do the same thing. I bought an empty handwashing dispenser from Poundland and I fill it with washing up liquid (when my hands aren’t too painful) so I just have to press down and not squeeze.

Hi Iwan, love watching your blogs. I very rarely go into B & M or Home Bargains but after watching your blogs were you check the stores out I can see I,ve been missing out. When buying a large plastic planter were your going to plant a plant directly into it, don,t put holes in the bottom, put the holes about 3 inches up the side, that way it's like a container reservoir in the bottom of the planter & you don,t need a saucer. If you put the holes in just one side no one will see them, so much neater. ❤😂

My cat 🐱 loves dreamies! She’s like that cat from the advert going through the walls. 😂 She runs when she hears the pack shaking 😂😂

Hi, the wheels are very common here USA, you find them in front of farm houses or country homes. They are pretty planted in your garden with either flowers or small shrubs in front of them. I have also seen them on fireplace chimney outside. I do like them in the garden better. You can also do a small display with different sizes, old milk cans and whatever you think will look decorative, a fountain or stained glass round hanging from a pole. Ok, I'm done.😀

What a store I would be in there for ever, there were so many things which caught my eye, thank you for showing us around, a really lovely video.

The big wagon wheel was giving me vibes of the film 'When Harry Met Sally' with the wagon wheel coffee table scene.

12:20 I highly rated that pet stain remover. We used it all the time. It does a fantastic job and leaves upholstery and carpets smelling so fresh

Totally recommend the wood pellets cat litter. I use it as do most cat owners and Vetinary clinics where I live. Suggest you get this litter for Pumpkin and Mittens. Takes away the urine smell and this littler has no dust. It's a winner.

I use Catsan Natural which was suggested by Cats Protection and its best I've ever had over thr years. Really keeps the smell down.

The rubber brushes are brilliant for getting pet hair off the carpet. I had a black cat and the brush took the hair away like magic.

Great idea for the 'grow bag tray'!

We’ve always used wood based cat litter. It doesn’t clump, obviously, but it has terrific odor control. Plus, it’s all natural. Our boys love it.

B & M's own brand melts are really good. I also bought a brushed cotton duvet set that is much better quality than others i have from Dunelm and other shops.

I am always fascinated to see the shops in my UK and the pricing. Very interesting. Here in Australia our isolation is a blessing and a curse. The curse is that nearly everything here is extortionate in price.

That’s a really well stocked B&M. So many things I want! The first one was in Cleveleys Lancs. It was quite a small shop and was always packed. If your cats like Dreamies don’t ever buy yellow packets of Peanut M&Ms and try to eat them when you have no Dreamies in stock!

B&M. One of my favourite shops. I had a look 2 days ago and bought some plant pots and a pet hoover. The assistant recommended it when i asked about brushes. It takes batteries. Will try it soon.

The wicker bathroom storage can be used for files on a shelf. Also the cork liquid bottles you find the cork goes moldy.

It’s odd when I return to England I always shop here and buy my gifts here. I bought a lot of my black interior vases here as we are a gothic home. They were way cheaper than some of those gothic designer web sites. My mum always gets me things and then sends it home. She said Poundland have upped their game as well.

Wow - huge store! Thanks for the tour. I have one of the small super soft fluffy rug which lies over my duvet at the end of my bed. It's great for keeping my tootsies warm and adds some nice texture to the room. 🥰

That is a lovely big store, lucky you! Mine is about the same size downstairs but we have no upstairs, but we do have a garden centre outside and their plants are usually very good value and price. I use a pedestal mat on two of my three toilets! As long as you wash them weekly any 'spills' can be taken care of, but seriously I had my two boys, plus all their mates and a hubby living at home before they grew up and left, (the boys, not my hubby, he never grew up!) and never really had any problem with spillages. Loved walking round with you in the B&M store, Thank you x

We have a collapsible laundry basket the first one did split but we got another mainly for storage purposes. I also have a rubber broom from Lidl years ago, to sweep when I cut the boys hair it works great I've seen them used in hairdressers.

Great blog but no TK Maxx. I will have to visit that retail park. A top tip from me, to get a seat which fits your toilet properly...just take a sheet of newspaper. Put on top of your toilet bowl and trace the exact shope around the outside rim of the bowl. You can then cut along that line and take this shape template to your diy shop to compare to the toilet seats to find the one which works best.

I have two of those cartwheels mounted on my garden wall. I live in a little cottage in the country so they suit the setting 🥰 My hubby has two of those faux fur black rugs joined together in his “man cave” he’s had them a couple of years, they’ve stayed super soft and they surprisingly *don’t* show up all the dust and debris. I highly recommend them, they’re just a tad smaller than you’d like, but great quality!!

Wow that store is huge! Loved all the garden items. As for collapsing laundry baskets, nice idea but I don't think a day goes by where I'm not doing laundry 😂 I have a collapsing dish drainer but wouldn't recommend it isn't very robust for daily use.

When I go in my local B&M (in Spalding) the music is so loud I just can’t concentrate on browsing and end up leaving without buying anything !

That package of "Dreamies" is identical to our "Temptations" here in Canada. Shake the bag and they come running! It's always notable when I see identical products /stores with different or similar sounding names ie TK Maxx, in North America they are TJ Maxx. Loved the tour of b&m, it's interesting to compare the prices. 😊
