Jenee, I think one of the things I like most about this video, is your price consciousness. I know that you have worn some of the most expensive pieces of clothing, but you are still checking prices on items that you could easily afford. Its a good lesson for all of us. Spend the money on quality

What's super impressive is that you know your personal style very well. That's what I need to work on--identifying what is "me" and what is just a "pretty item." Definitely continue this series.

More of these kinds of videos! I’m a known “occasion” shopper and I also fall for the the trap of buying things that I find cute without considering if it works for my body type. Need to dress for the body I have vs the body I want! This really challenged me to shop differently and consider how every piece fits and learning what works. Going to try this out the next time I shop! Tashira has me checking fabrics and now I’ll be mindful of fit and colors 🤗 Also s/o to Maya for this idea!

When I get back home, I’m upset because I didn’t get anything I was looking for and I end up with a lot of hodgepodge clothing I don’t need. If you can refrain from compulsive shopping, surely I can. I love this kind of video! I like seeing the thought process of how you shop. It is very helpful to understand that, just because you think something is cute doesn’t mean that you should buy it and it doesn’t mean that it’s going to be flattering on. I love how you emphasize that understanding ones personal aesthetic, silhouette, color schemes and fabric preference is paramount. The feel, details, and weight of the fabrics is the key. I predominantly wear flats but from watching this video I will now pay closer attention to the straps and the support I used to think that flats automatically translated into comfort, but I have learned the hard way that it doesn’t.

I like that how you shop is reflected in how you shop. You know your style. You style items at least three times before you purchase. You know your no buy because you've got enough or you never wear it. Thank you for pointing out how to identify quality.
