If you need him, then seek him. You are right where God intended you to be. It's up to you if you wish to follow or turn away but I chose to after 20 years of active addiction and with Jesus by my side I'm 6 years clean and I was a hopless junkie that should have died long ago but jesus did not see it that way. I'm still not where I want to be but all in God's time and not mine.

Every time I dream of Jesus coming it is so beautiful, one dream Jesus was coming and the lost were running for a place to hide, but all Christians were clapping our hands as the sky was parting because we knew it was Jesus coming and we were all shouting and clapping our hands saying, "Come Lord Jesus Come Lord Jesus" it was so beautiful the joy inside was immense. I also dreamed that Jesus came and when I got to see Him there was a river of joy came gushing out of me, full joy gushing out from my body like a river of endless water, a joy I never felt before in my life, and I said to Him, Lord, Lord, I've waited so long for this moment, and He just smiled at me. When I woke up and remembered that joy I felt I thought if that is all I have all eternity it will be by far more than enough.

It is so hard to pray for this world. I have been so angry with GOD, I have been through so much emotional, physical and spiritual hell these past 4 years! An unwanted divorce, job change, injury requiring surgery.. etc.. I am over thus world and the trials.. I did not ask to come into this mess... but I will continue to love and praise GOD...😢

Come Jesus come, we are weary and so anxious to see you, to be in your presence and rejoice .

I spent Sundays (until I was 10) sitting in the pews of our church with my sisters, parents, and grandparents. Traditional Lutheran church. My parents, sisters and I moved across the country from my grandparents after that. Although we tried, we never found a home church again. Spent a few years in a religiously based youth group. Married a non-believer. Missed out on Christian teachings (no Sunday School, Bible Camp, Confirmation classes, parent teachings, Bible studies or anything). Always kept God in my heart. Learned some of the big stories (Adam & Eve, the Prodigal Son, Noah, Jesus' birth, death & resurrection, Job). Wasn't "allowed" by my childrens' father to have my children baptized until they were 4 and 10, when I put my foot down and flat out TOLD their dad that it WAS going to happen no matter what! And I did it! Made sure my kids knew about Jesus, learned to say their bedtime prayers, etc. They have a very solid relationship with God, as do I now. Still don't attend church very often, due to extreme medical afflictions and needs. This past year, I have lost my precious companion - a beautiful 14-year-old "puppy" that I raised from the age of 4 weeks, had a serious cancer scare that required 8 months of testing and scanning to rule out, the death of my stepdad, my mother entering into dementia, food & housing insecurities and huge financial disparities. Haven't been able to cry on more than 5 months from having to hold everyone together through our losses. Today, I heard this song for the first time...prepared to belt out the 3rd chorus only to discover thAt there was a huge lump in my throat, choking back tears. I spent the rest of my drive home in awe of the depth of feeling, comfort, and inspiration that had washed over me. I wanted to cry out to Jesus with the lyrics! My life will never be the same after this immense feeling of connection with the Lord! My daughter randomly changed the radio station yesterday because she wanted to "hear God's music". If not for her, I would've missed out on this message. So thankful that I didn't!!
