First time I went was in the 80s when I was a teenager. Yoyogi Park was packed with small dance groups. It was the best of times!

My 14 year old loves Takeshita Dori. I also really enjoy Harajuku, it makes this old man feel young again 😆

That kebab spot towards the end of the video has been the most steady business there! I remember eating there In 2010.

Neat! My husband and I went to both the crepe and kebab shop at the end of the street when we were there in ~2017. The guy at the kebab shop was very nice and their food was very tasty, I'm glad to see they're still in business. :)

Takeshitadori has changed so much since I was there last. It used to be heavy with fashion-related stores in 2004. Is any of that still there?

For anyone being a super weeb like me, at 5:25 you see NOA Coffee on the right side of the street. That place is your typical cafe-like experience you see in anime where a group of friends just sit down and chat and order a parfait or a lunch item, with a chill atmosphere and surprisingly not too crowded despite the street it's on (if you're not going exactly at lunch time during the holidays...). I can't wait to visit the place again this year :)

Major touristy spot. Lots of fun "fair" food.

I like it that there is a place where you can just get some very healthy food! Sometimes you just want to eat something healthy and “normal” :) I have been to this street back in 2012, for me it was way too crowded :) But also interesting :)

Shinichi, you seemed so embarassed to be eating healthy food! 🤣 It's okay, really! Healthy food is good and perfectly fine to show on video! The crepes looked so good. I got a salad one once at Ala Moana. It was really yummy but small and expensive. I enjoyed the video...thank you! ☺

I think that used to be a Doutor coffee place. I'm really sad to see the long potato place next to the Kabab shop gone 😞

I was there about a month and a half ago, on a weekday. It was VERY crowded, I don't like Takeshita Dori a whole lot because of this. I usually only go there if I want to go to B-Side Label, a sticker shop that's a bit away from Takeshita (basically exit the street and just keep going straight and you will get there). I imagine I would like it more if it isn't crowded with people (usually tourists) that are blocking the road and stuff like that.

That chicken and broccoli just looked sad...

That was sad to see the loss of the old Harajuku train station.
