The last operating deep lead in Australia was an old Chinese show just out of Wedderburn, reopened and retimbered by Terry Frerk and his son, ex of Gormanstown, Queenstown and King Island. It was running only a few years back and producing an ounce a day. Brilliant video Michele, a fairdinkum masterpiece.

G'day again, awesome description of the deap leads, thank you. We have an old silver mine up here in Emmaville, it was the richest silver mine in NSW before they discovered Broken Hill. The shaft go's down 780ft with drive's driven off on multiple levels. The Webb's collision mine.

What people talk about is the golden Try angle Talking about the gold?What come at a Red Hill mine per will?Barrow was 250 oz. Per wheelbarrow Documented body the old timers who were the grand And read hill mine is not just shafts. It's an open cut mine two But The open cat mine was done in the 1991 What ran two 1994 And got shut down , not making enough profit
