No one has even taken into account how many Australian voices are around him as well when shooting. That would be tough to not pick some of the dialect up while filming in Australia which further proves Austin nailed his role and performance for this incredible movie! He truly deserves an Oscar!

He's an actor I'll give him that. But he did not capture the Elvis Presley I knew. There's only one Elvis Presley and if I want to see him I'll rent one of his movies. End of story. Otherwise this movie is so full of holes it looks like a sieve.

we keep talking about how gorgeous austin is but can talk about how talented he is

I love seeing the "behind the scenes" material. It's amazing how all this gets put together.

I totally agree ! I don't remember feeling this way about a movie since forest Gump. This movie is a roller coaster of so many different emotions. But at the same time I didn't want it to end.

austin did an incredible job!!! he was so perfect the singing, acting & dancing was amazing! so proud of him & i cant wait for the oscar noms to come out he will definitely be nominated!!!

Luv all these behind the scenes! So interesting to see how it all comes together and all the hard work involved to make a 2.5 hr movie.

Just saw the movie for the second time!! It was amazing, I 11/11 highly recommended to go see it. Wonderful job Austin butler and the director and other cast members! Great job

Bill Black. If you watch him on Sullivan and Berle, with Elvis, he was a real ham. The actor here looks just like him. Poor fellow died in '65 from brain cancer.

There is more to Popular Music, and Elvis than just 1 genre. These evolved from people like Elvis who contributed something to music and it morphed from the very the start. ........ The urban legend that Elvis stole music is a misnomer. Elvis only "covered" some R&B songs. What this means is he recorded it AFTER the original artist ALREADY had their own hit with it. What the haters really mean, is Elvis should not be allowed to record R&B because he is the wrong color. I do like BBKing's remark, "once a song is out there, anyone is free to record it." ......... Elvis' version of rock & roll (called Rockabilly) was a mixture of Country & Blues. This eventually de-segregated American music. Listening to his very first recordings at Sun Studios (1953-55) he was recording Country, Bluegrass, Pop from the very beginning, in addition to blues. Yet the film is downplaying his other influences. ........ Yeah the casting for Priscilla was off. She didn't look, sound, or act like Priscilla at all.

Priscilla got her nose stuck in it she was his ex, no other woman mentioned not a true account at all. There she was at the premiere.

I didn't think so either until I watched the movie. He captured him so perfectly. His voice, movements, mannerisms ....... everything was so spot on he started to look like him.
