Starting to think that Brian has the healthiest relationship with this game. He mainly plays on stream (I think), doesn’t spend, uses his favourite unique champs, and clears content at his own pace which helps with not getting burnt out. Everyone else clears new content the day it drops, open the insane rewards to get their dopamine release and then for weeks just play battlegrounds and end up calling the game mode dead and that the rewards don’t hold up anymore . Good video brian. Showcasing how much there is to do in game.

I have to agree 100%. I started playing for a nice change of pace from work and was able to get to paragon in 3 weeks. I have looked at videos in the past, but never have time to join. I don't think new players can ever catch up obviously, but they can get better rewards/heros than ever before.

Issue for most former players , and or new players, is the time requirement to learn all the new champs. At least a couple years ago you could get some easy relaxing fights without reading an essay. But now even all those old original champs are annoying to fight. I was gone for a year and it’s just not worth the time to go understand the 2000 word essays on 30 champs. And then go figure out which few attackers work for them, etc. After you factor in all the other stuff (aq, aw, bg, incursion, arena, etc) just isn’t time. Even arena takes so much longer these days due to the new champs and their defensive abilities.

@@carsonhunt4642 Its just a matter of experience, and all the information is out there. What you're bringing up is a core component of the game, understanding your opponents. Its important in Story Questing, Side Questing, Alliance Questing, Event Questing, Alliance War, Battlegrounds, Back Issues, Daily Questing, every area of the game. If you can't do the bare minimum than why even play?

Came back to the game this past December on a mid level account I had. I quit the game back in 2018 on my main because of addiction to the game getting in life. I have had fun this time around with a more casual approach to it. Reached Paragon a month ago. It's exciting seeing so many new champions on the game roster, new abilities, synergies, new ways to approach content, objectives, etc. Overall I'm having a great time. This new event will definitely help with my push for Valiant.

Agree, I stopped playing in 2020 and came back last Christmas on a cav level account with not a single r2 six star. Now I am paragon with a couple of r5s, multiple r4s a r2 seven star. Currently farming revives for my first necro run.

i agree with the first minute, i just came back from not playing for like 2 and a half or more years, and I went from lowly cavalier to thronebraker with a lot of 6 stars instead of 3.

As someone who took a break, around 4 months, i can say the game rn is really fun. Act 8.3-8.4 is soooo much more fun than any other act of chapters, especially with the path changes. The 8.4 boss is really fun as well, not to mention the ludicrous amount of really great rewards from doing 8.3-8.4. I mean, you can get 14k 7 star shards from doing the paths alone from 8.3 -8.4 alone. So yea right now super happy with the game

i started playing a few weeks ago after 4 -5 years, i had only a couple 5* and i am doing progress with some 6* and got soem god tiers 5* already to complete act 6* . I think its worth it and there is a lot of content, yeah it may take time to build up a decent 6* roster but is much entertaining and not money / time consuming. If you already have a good 6* roster you won’t have an issue with quests. The game has gotten more entertaining

I returned to the game about a month ago. I will say, while it is completely free to play, I have definitely spent real world money to help with progression. After about half way through act 5, without an extensive knowledge of character counters and node awareness, it makes lower star champions almost obsolete. I have watch many videos and while it does help, you reach a wall as a returning free to play play, simply because there are such a large selection of champions and your ability to acquire them is very random and luck based. I still play a few hours every day, because I genuinely love the game and love Marvel, but it was a daunting task to return to this game after 4 years away from it, and spending money made it much easier. Love the video! Keep them rolling out!

I took a long break from this game years ago. 5 stars had been released for only a little while. I been playing again for about a month and by far the most overwhelming thing is learning all the champs, abilities and counters.

The biggest issue or my biggest problem is the A.I how are new players and returning players going to feel when they come back and there getting snap light attacked DLLs term or sidestep or get parried when using a double medium champs kabam really needs to start fixing issues and bugs ASAP I dont understand why it takes them soo long to fix issues and problems lol

It is crazy i came back like 3 months ago and i was uncollected just staying casual i ended up paragon and actually having an amazing time all they needed was to listen to the players really lol.

I have noticed you have the Gambit relic on Sunspot. The bonus crit chance from the relic applies only to physical hits, Sunspot's special damage is all energy.

I quit the game when they announced the 7 stars Brian. I can see why you’re excited (100%’ed abyss back in the day only for a Dr. Doom but could not get it, anyways haha) and I know you are not biased and you’re a fair player, that’s why I am still watching your videos but quitting this game was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I was addicted, now I am free. Thanks though, still good content.

You just start doing less and less and less every month. Find something in real life that interests you. If you get enough interest and motivation to do other things, mcoc will just gradually fade out. Or quit cold turkey.. That wouldn’t work for me, but for some people there’s no other way.

The anooying part is that i will never be able to get aniything in the summoners market, since my account is glitched and i cant reattatch it to my mcoc account, and i contacted kabam support but they couldt make sure that i was the owner of the account so they couldnt help me

i would like to give my 2 cents on the state of the game. I believe this game is fun to anyone who wont take it half as seriously as the endgame players now. if anyone new is planning to start playing now, and has 3+ hours a day to grind, they will not find any fun in it. the truth is, the economy of this game is at an all time low. the distance between P2W and F2P is at an all time high, in a world where gamemodes now require diverse rosters most. to compete even with casual spenders, you would need countless hours of grinding and hard work, only to be stopped by a roadblock of changes needed to be made by the economy. new players now cant even hit GC until they are paragon level, in a gamemode that thrived in closing the gap between P2W and F2P. new players wont be able to compete in alliance war, since most mid tier alliances are retired or dont even try. alliance quest has been a bust since 2020. and the rewards coming from each gamemode arent good at the progression level that they are in. you will eventually hit a stalemate. a state where you if you do end up investing time and effort into the game, that you are just average, and wont find fun in any gamemode. the rewards will aways seem lacking, the new challenges will aways be for the end game players, and kabam still never catering towards the common folk unless it gets a few more downloads and a temporary thumbs up from the community.

@@StacheBoi aw showcase, raids STILL not able to be earned (kabam said on the introductory livestream that you would be able to earn every single raid ticket), battlegrounds still not holding up to how it was in 2022/ early 2023, and alot more. if a new player gets into this game, they shouldnt go into the deep end.

Hey, Im thronebreaker. Should i get the 15k 7* shards and 15 paragon crystals or the 1-2 rank up gem and the t4a? I have 3 7*s as of rn (Sasquatch, Hyperion and IMIW) and am pretty far. I would probably r2 my sassy if i get the gem. Which deal should i pick? If the latter, should i save the gem? Btw I have an r5 6* ascended sig 100 Scorp, r4 ascended hulking and a bunch of r3s. Thanks :)

Good stuff! I think a great thing about the game and a downfall of the game is content creators. When videos become rants of whining about the game - the game has it faults of course - it removes the fun out of both that video and the game. You can complain about anything in life, this is a game. Find something fun about it or move on, my attitude at least. I appreciate these kind of videos because it reminds us of the fun element of it. Thank you!

Hey CC I was just wondering if you could give me some advice on how to progress? My top 5 champions are Sunspot, Abs, Vox, Galan and either Wasp or Hulkling; I’m primarily using SS, Abs, and Vox. Are there any tips you could offer in terms of making a stronger team, my roster fees very lackluster. I have about 12 6* champs and Vox is one of them, they are a R4 Vox too. I’m only an Uncollected and about 60% done with it, if you could spare some of your infinite wisdom I’d appreciate it. Have a great day/weekend!

All these things are great, much better than 7 or 5 years ago...but now this game drains so much of your time to have a semi competitive roster, that it's very easy to stay behind and be back to barely be able to do the same old boring stuff. Additionally side events are a thing of wonder: each month is more and more convoluted: you need an objective to get the key, to enter a quest to get another key to get the objectives to get the currency to buy from the shop. That's not even exaggerated - that's April.

Played this game years ago, should I just start fresh?

I restarted two days ago. I reached act 3 in the first day. I meant to buy the level-gated champion crystal offer. I usually buy it as soon as its offered. I didnt this time. To my surprise, the game had given me 3 four stars by grinding arena and progressing through to act 3. Then they gave me a 5 star. Valkyrie. I had stppped playing befire she was released. So i don't know how to play her. (My first time in the game, my first 5 star was HulkBuster. When he was so bad... my friend laughed at me for getting a worthless champ. I had finally got a 5 star around the time 6 stars were released. I can't live in arena. And I'm not made of money ) I started in the early evening. I played. And played. And played. When I thought to check the time... It was 3 am!!! Waaay past bed time. A 5 star. And then this gold and platinum thing dropped on me. Wth!?? I realized i needed stony cores to unkock masteries... (By the way, they give you parry mastery. You don't nerd yo earn it anymore.) Im stuck on a side quest. Killing a juggernaut. You know. The new snd improved one. Only thing is. None of my 4 stars, nor my 5 star are science. I have no counter. Eventhough Juggs is 1/2 my PI... He super quickly wins. D wins. And wins. Suddenly, the game isn't fun. Its painful. Looking online, the advice is to knock him down. But i can't do that because my champs are defeated in the blink of an eye. I literally cant do a damn thing. The champ is only 1/2 my PI. My journey ends here.

This man still simps for Kabam huh? I don't think Ive ever heard him ever say anything negative about the game that's plagued with as many issues as this one.

I’ve watched plenty of videos with him complaining about the game. You must be new. But Brian is also different. He tends to be a positive person in general. You should try it and see what that feels like.

I took a couple yrs off and caught up in about 6-8 months.. it's def gotten better but a bit over saturated

I don't get the logic as to why getting a (possibly) 6* Awakened Sig 50 at Rank 5 so early in the game is a good thing. I'm not the average gamer, but what i like about games, especialy gacha games, is the struggle. What's the point of starting now if you're gonna get given an overpowered (any 6* character, possibly at rank 5, is op for a new account, even Groot) unit right from the start ? You either have to not use the character at all, or find yourself getting bored out of your mind as you clear all of the early content with ease. To me this is literaly just a good opportunity for existing players to do a new account challenge. Why would any "new player" that doesn't know anything about MCOC, care about an event just dishing out late-ish game rewards ? Wtf is even the abyss? Wtf is even progression titles ? As a new player, what you see is Act 1, Act 2, Act 3, etc. What i would like, as a new player, would be tons of gold and iso, which historicaly was always the most annoying thing about MCOC. Maybe some low rank catalysts aswell, because noone wants to wait for daily resets for the same quest over and over again for meh rewards. I think it would be better to get more crystals (by playing the game) and actualy being able to use the stuff you get from them (the gold and iso would allow that). Why are 6* champs and "new player" even in the same sentence ? Let new players use 2*, 3*, 4* and 5* first... Let them rank up these lower ranks and just explore the game... MCOC has already changed anough to speedrun a player into "the endgame".

Act 6 can be a mental block. It's something you just have to grit your teeth and get through use the revives if needed but for me the big game changer was using the class based boosts. Cgr with a cosmic power boost is just a joke if you have him but try it and best of luck 😊

I must agree if you can get past at 6 you can get thru all content in game.

Question for anyone who can answer. I'm having a HUGE gold problem in the game. I recently came back after only being uncollected and im making my way theought Act 6. I'm having fun but I find myself having so much upgrade materials but like no gold. So I'm just curious about the best ways to get a bunch of Gold. Thanks!

Took roughly 4 month break came back for like 3 to 4 and I'm going on 4 months again of not playing played since may 2015 booted up the game yesterday played 1 path in monthly EQ absolutely 1 million% not worth coming back imho

@@mohammadfuad4551 its funt to be back, but the the progression stops after you get to Paragon, because you eighter have to get 100% necro or 100% act 8 to go to the next level. And getting rank up recources as a paragon player is hard AF, so its a bit of both

If this spring cleaning was only for money then it could have started the death of the game , early access bundle , matchmaking in bgs , annoying defenders that's most people complain

The issue is for alliance war. the rewards for valiant in Platinum at the end of the month is so underwhelming.

its true. there's content to be done and should be fun for returning players. BuT, if they come with 2-3k usd large also? much much better return, they ll get cleaned by spring cleaning and July 4th and .. just like that, magic, u will have spent 2-3k coco and you will have a much much bigger account vs some1 who use to spend but stopped for like 1 year lets say? so ya, come get cleaned and u will have fun :D

At this Point bg if you recomend others you must do a new account challenge just to show them how it's done from a pro

Stopped playing because I felt (and was actually) forced to play Battlegrounds to stay competitive and even stay in my alliance. The most time consuming gamemode outside of Incursions. I'm just looking for a game where skill keeps you ahead, rather than mindless BG and Arena grinding.

They are already working on 8 star roster lists. This game will evolve till they can not fit any more stars on the screen.
