Not sure what education they were referring to in the video. I guess they all are done with their schools. In Myanmar, you finish high school at 16. (1) By the time, you get to 20, you are done with your Bachelor's degree. (2) If you are looking at international schools, they are going to be very expensive. Money by creating videos is never going to be enough to pay for those expensive education (3) On the other hand, If you are looking at public schools or pseudo or home-made private schools, they can more than afford those education with their financial backgrounds. If they can speak English at that level, one can guess they have those financial backgrounds.

@@betserv.1187 Hi! This is Tara, I am 20, and currently in my second year of Bachelors. (I did up to Year 12 of secondary education). As a student studying through online classes during this pandemic, Myanmar's wifi is not the most reliable, and with the lack of public libraries/study spaces, we students rely on cafes near our houses. As you may be aware, pricing of foods and beverages at nice (rather quiet) cafes in Yangon aren't the cheapest. So personally, I have been using the income from my presence on this channel for my study sessions at neighbourhood cafes for the past weeks, and boost productivity in my exam period. Hope this shines you a different insight to how your support to EatSleep Yangon is used. Thanks for your interest.

@@betserv.1187 Thanks for the suggestion. Coincidentally, I've got the MyanmarNet service connected at home! But like this current moment, their connection is temporarily down due to the weather so I'm using my data while replying. Thank god I'm not right in the middle of a class.

These are really informative videos on Yangon. I've been wanting to visit, and then COVID happened. Were these videos filmed before the COVID shutdowns, or are things that eased up in Yangon already? What is the attitude toward western tourists in Yangon and the rest of Myanmar?

Thank you for your kind comments. At the moment Yangon is under strict lockdown due to a lot of new Covid cases. Generally, the attitude towards foreign tourists is very good and hopefully Myanmar will soon accept tourists again.

The VIP tier where members can request certain content is of course within reason. We have a certain style and format already for our videos and whatever the VIP members request have to be within our usual style of format. Asking one of the hosts to kiss every person in a bar for example is not the kind of videos we will be making.
