We call this bimbal. We had this tree in my grandma s place. My mouth s watering when I see the fruit. My grandma used this as a substitute for tamarind too sometimes. She even used to make pickle from this. I miss all of this a lot. Thank you for sharing such an wonderful recipe.

The Bilimbi fruit seems more like Amla(gooseberries).and the sweetlime juice is quite tempting. Good sources of Vit C👍Moreover the innocence and sweetness of these two ladies far outweighs the sour flavor of those two sour fruits. 👍God bless you both with health and happiness

We use this bimli fruit in curries

I have never heard or seen this bilimbi,Pandan, that jackfruit category I forgotten the name that grandma prepared. I am from Madhya Pradesh jabalpur. Pl tell me different species names or vegetables that only grown or eaten in Kerala. The girl is so cute.

We call the oblong fruit (condisiour) in my country not sure of the spelling...we make juice, dry it, make fruit for christmas cakes and also use it as a preservative in pepper sauce#473 lovely vid.

I think the bigger fruit was lime for some refreshing lime juice. But i don't know waht the little sour fruit was but i know it had alot of red pepper flakes hot stuff i love it and use alot of pepper too! I will watch again to see the name of the small fruit
