Combat Scarf - Arctic Head Wrap
Stick one of these in your field kit because frost bite sucks.
One winter day you will need it. You will thank me later...
Enjoy the video and as always MAPLE LEAF UP!

Quick and easy explanation, thanks.
Excellent job. Thank you.
Scarves have always been an important part of my gear.
Love the old Cbt Scarf!!
Greetings from Ontario! Loving your channel. Keep up the good work!
Scrim scarf/sniper veils are great for the summmer too, dunk it in water and wear it like a veil and cool air will come through the wet fabric.
crazy weather, my buddy waited until December to come up from Florida to hunt in the Uwharrie area of Ramsuer NC. 60's!!!!!!!!! and dry /fire ban. NOW we have ideal conditions, nuts. I did carry my Savage 99 from 21', 250-3000 takedown with the schnabel , and the curved butt plate, to top it off the old Marbles flip down peep! I felt manly!
Good video. I prefer a neoprene fleece face cover that attaches with Velcro around the back of the neck. Fully covers the neck, mouth and nose with small breathing holes. The thing I find with scarves is they are not very windproof. I live in northern Canada. Currently -30+ because of the freaking nasty wind today.
Enemy force at 7:13 :p Thanks for your great vids. :-)
This video is freaking hilarious. By far your funniest video yet.

Interesting - most people don't recognize my black humour - guess I'm too serious?
Yup. I gotcha. Thanks
I have a shemagh but I usually only use it for spring/fall/summer and light winter use. Normally I use my CF issued scarf. I've had it since my time in the CF. I liked it so much I paid for it when I quit!

I'd sure like to find another one. I found this is a surplus store years ago for $10 and I've never seen another since. I should have picked up 3 or 4 of them. Thanks for your service Rob!

You can't beat the Canadian military scarf. I referred to mine as almost being a mini blanket in my video on 80's Canadian winter kit. With the extra large pockets of the extreme cold parka, there is plenty of room to always have it with you, along with pure wool toque, and gauntlets or gloves. I'll check our surplus store nearby first chance I get. See if I can find some more for you.
He is wearing the Canadian military style balaclava, you can buy the originals or reproductions. If you wear glasses or just don't like the eye holes, carefully cut the stitching on the nose piece and it will open up while the hem around the eyes stays intact. The Canadian military waffle scarf is fantastic as it is very wide and you could wrap around your chest as an extra layer if need be. If you can get the US brown cotton scarf from the Gulf War, do so, they make excellent neck rags even in the summer. Now back to enjoying the rest of Summer.
Late to your channel but love the content. I have two CF issue scarves. I dont go out in winter without one. LOved in in uniform and still do.
had to watch this again!

I sense sarcasm! lol
what's the name of that long grey scarf ?
I wonder what the exact measurements are to the scarf, sounds really handy for my trip to Maine
Great channel! Thx! How do you like neckwarmers / collars? I use them with scarf and if it is really cold then add balaclava (and fur hat) to the mix too. Hail from Finland
My sniper veil is so long and so wide when i fold it in half its the size of a totaly unfolded shemagh. Its already double layered at that point and i fold it again to make the triangle and its big enougj at that point to do all the usual shemagh wraps.
Why don’t they make these things in wool? Of merino wool??
My gta character
does that still keep you as warm as the shemagh even with the open weave?

survivalminded in cold dry weather it's way better
Good information. I wear eyeglasses so this is an inexpensive solution. Do you have a link to the Canadian Army Surplus scarf?

No I don't unfortunately. The CDN Combat Scarf seems to be an allusive animal similar to the unicorn. If you can find them buy lots..

Riflechair better report him to the cops. They will most likely just trace his IP audition him/her/it and leave the case open. But you will have a good point in case you have to shoot him in your backyard one day. But if you dont say anything to the cops and then you shoot him, the judge will ask why you didnt try to find a peaceful solution
