Coma patients respond to loved ones' voices, study shows

Doctors often tell families to constantly talk to their loved ones, even if they're unconscious. But the question always remained: Can they hear? For the first time, science may have an answer. Ben Tracy reports on the milestone in medical research that is being released first on "CBS This Morning."

My husband has been in a coma for almost 3 months. I know he can come out of it. He has other medical issues. And because of this, his family wants me to with draw care,so he can just die. I don't think this is right. When God is ready for him to die,He will take my husband. I am not going to be the reason he dies. But,I would like to take care of him, while he is still here. Until he awakens from his coma,or leaves this world naturally; in God's time.

He may be there but this puts a lot of emotional strain on the actual person he might be frustrated with the progress he’s making and sometimes they become suicidal and the worst part of all is they can’t even end it themselves I just hope he has hoe wants to continue on cause that’s where it starts
