Sold my Montgomery's about a year ago. Have an RV now. Probably in 2 yrs want a sailboat again. Planning to get a Com-pac, 17' Suncat like yours. I like the single sail and able to sit up in cabin.

Would love to see more videos of you sailing the Suncat! I have wanted one for years and most Suncat vids are 5 years or older.

I will do that for you. I noticed the same thing when I was looking into the Sun Cat. The build quality on this little boat is very good, it feels solid. Not the fastest sailboat out there but it offers I think some true micro cruiser abilities. I like bicycle touring and some of my longer tours lasted years. If I had this Suncat then I would have used it for a micro coastal cruiser. The versitility with the mast system to move it I think is phenomenal. You could put in a 20 foot shipping container. Throw it on a flat bed truck. If you have a time a good imagination the options are endless. One more thing the cabin is like a big three person tent. When I lay on a bunk out stretch my arm to the side I do not touch the other bunk. Thanks for the interest and I hope you take the plunge and buy a Compac Sailboat.

Thanks for doing this. I bought one! Now...will you do video on how to set up sail and how to sail. Especially how keel adjustment and sail shape work together. Also how to reef. Thanks
