I try not to be negative with this special team... But I can't speak positively about Boupenbza... He's sloppy and clearly a man of vanity. So many times He's tried to make flashy touches that went to the defense. He's currently out bc he suffered a broken jaw at a bar. I wasn't there but I'm willing to believe he had it coming 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Boupendza getting cold-cocked may be the best thing to happen to this team.

Kelsy is gonna be one to watch in the coming years

Venezuela might finally have another proper talent and an answer at #9 not named Rondon. I support Columbus but I'm also a fan of Kelsy. This match pulled at my heart.

This one hurts, I thought Nancy got it wrong today, matan at wingback didn’t work and subbing morris lost us the midfield battle. I’m hoping he’s just looking forward to the ccl final and as much as I love him as a coach, we all make mistakes. In Wilfred we trust

Yeah the Crew just seemed so much less in control than normal, wild considering the home streak(s). I think the 10 days of rest was the real killer--just a bit of rust, which is too much when playing Cincy, esp with Kelsy who seems like a real starter, great sub from Noonan ig

Yes, the new stadium they built nearer the city centre.

While this happened three weeks ago, I'm happy for FC Cincinnati and that win over the defending MLS Cup champion Crew in Columbus. Mind you, I like the Crew as well, but the expansion Cincy club showed some life in a big way against their cross-state rivals. Well done, guys.

Lucho was recovering from an injured ankle and was up all night sick before this game. Remarkable player.

Hagen wouldn’t let that slide

This one has the clear derby feel in it. Two amazing stadiums, dedicated fans, and two squads that can play good football in their day. Lucho Acosta has been phenomenal again for FCC and the Crew is not producing goals, so the results seems very fair. But you have to love the derby vibes. Propz Ohio!

Looked like Cincinnati has been looking forward to this for weeks and been training specifically for weeks for this game. BUT the crew looked like they have been in multiple competitions early on. And maybe were not as prepared for this match as they should have been.

FCC fan here...and a pessimist at heart. I predicted Columbus was gonna hand it to us 3-1: we've several dismal performances this season.... Columbus is rocking it in the Leagues tourney. They gassed us in post-season play last year. 2/3 of our strike package from last year is gone and our chemistry with their replacements isn't quite there yet...and we have history with the ref, Guido...and the Crew has always been a thorn in our side. Bbbbbuuttt nah baby nah. No amount of pissing and moaning here about this bad call or that non-call can take away from the fact that... FCC SIMPLY BEAT THE CREW!

Same here. Yes, Crew should’ve had a PK for Acosta’s foul in the box. (As far as I’m concerned, it makes up for the non-call against Crew 2 years ago, for the blatant offside goal 😄). But nothing detracts from the fact that FCC played well. Hopefully, Kelsy can start more often because, despite the goal last week, Baird’s been pretty useless.
