25 years and it still seems like yesterday

I was in middle school when this happened and I remember being scared to go to highschool that next year. My parents said it was a freak incident. Look where we are now. I'll always be angry about this and every columbine we've suffered since then.

Thank you for sharing this. I’ll never forget the victims or how I felt that day as a kid the same age . It breaks my heart knowing how much life I have lived just in 25 years especially now that I now have a child of my own. We change so much from high school and it’s just so hard to understand that this is still happening. I hope all the families know that they will never be forgotten

I can't believe it has been 25 years. i hope their families have peace now, may the victims RIP.

I remember in school after these shootings would happen. The school teachers would go out of the way to include everyone, and try to rid the bullying. It was a great experience. We all made sure some kids that were picked on, felt some sense of belonging. You don't know what other people are going through.

Thinking of all the families who were affected. Sending good thoughts, too, to all the students who injured.

I was 14, it was so brutal and sad and shocking, defined my generation really. I've made it a point to never forget them. I will always keep that promise.

I remember exact what I was doing and remember watching this happening on live tv. Gives me chills still. Rest In Peace to you all we won’t forget you!!

This is what I remember I moved upstate right after this and I was in Elementary School at The time there was a speaker who was there in the school auditorium and I Vividly remember seeing a slide of the Colombine high school on the Projector and also the Pictures of Cassie Barnell and every other victim who lives where Shattered and we were all givin A link of Chains The Chains of Kindness in Rachel’s memory and we all wrote our own Acts of kindness on these Chains that made me so Emotional just thinking about it all over again and at the end we Also were giving Cassie Barnell’s book of her life through her words from her Diary the Book was Called “She Said Yes” that makes me cry every time I see her picture and hear back her story

God bless each and every one of them, it doesn't seem like 25 yrs already 😢 But I never ever forgot each and every one of these sweet kids ❤ I was only 22 when this happened and I hadn't been out of high school long, I will never forget hearing about it on the radio in my car that day and my heart ached for everyone. I am so sorry for the loss that these people have gone through, my prayers and love ❤🙏❤

I'll never forget cause I was in my senior year & on that day at my school (in Va) we had a bomb threat. We had just gotten back to our classes when we got the news ! With the bomb threat we were already scared because it wasn't the only one, it started on our first day of school. I can't really remember how many we had before the day of Columbine shooting! I just remember that we didn't have much time to look at what was happening w/our school but after that day we were getting mad & had more fear about our school. I remember walking in to my history or government class and the tv was on & as I was just ready to sit down the news came on & was going on about the shooting. I took my seat & wasn't about to think straight about anything! My heart just went out to everyone from that school, families, town, and state! Even today I just don't understand why or how someone could take a life(s) like that! 😪💔💔💔 That day will forever be remembered not just by the ppl that saw or lost someone that because a piece is always be missing and no telling the world missed out on from losing the young that would never leave their own mark on the world!

What I appreciate about 'most' smaller media outlets like 9News is their continuing pursuit of truth and balance; valuing and reporting the facts without the interference of propaganda and misinformation through monetary gains and virtual viewership. Unlike other national news stations where their grand focus is often political symposium on gun control and mental health, this news station exclusively allowed themselves to focus the only thing that truly mattered about this tragedy: its community. Understanding who they were allows these folks to finally let their souls be at peace; and with that they are no longer the victims of this heinous tragedy but members of Littleton. This, guys and gals...is acceptance and they always be there in spirit. Small towns, rule! ☺

All of these absolutely amazing souls live on through those that love them and they are loved by many many people even those who hadn’t had the chance to have met them in person they will always be remembered never forgotten they deserve to be remembered as the amazing people they were and not as a victim my condolences to all the families and friends I enjoy hearing stories of their lives that you all are sharing

A day that should have never happened

I was 17 when this happened, my junior year. It sounds cliche to many who don’t understand, but every one of these kids were anything but average; they all really were incredibly special and had a lot to offer. But the one that especially stuck out to me was Kelly Fleming. She had a smile of pure innocence, something that evil recoils at when presented with it. Those two demons, like the spineless cowards that they were, shot this remarkably beautiful, talented young girl in the back. Even 25 years on, it just doesn’t seem real. Nevertheless, she and all her classmates who perished that day are now with the Lord; many of the families of the slain, including Kelly’s, experienced numerous supernatural signs which would confirm this. Moreover, though they died young, they touched and continue to touch more people in their short lives than most do in an entire lifetime. It is for this reason that we know their deaths, although untimely, were not in vain. Not one bit.

Why remember the 2 who took the lives of these 13? These 13 wanted to live to graduate, to love, go to college/military/retire, and spend the rest of their life spoiling grandkids. The 2 who did this chose to end their lives in the end they could've been captured by the cops been convicted and live their lives out in jail. They CHOSE to die. The only people who chose to die that day were them. The 13 this video talks about were the victims
