I blame the board of directors and the president. They are educated for goodness sake. If you remove these students forcibly, history tells us they will come back even more forcefully. This only ends when there is genuine negotiation which the school has not done. The current president is not an honest broker and should resign immediately to open up a way forward.

I feel so out of touch with these protesters. What world are they living in? Yes, the situation in Gaza is unacceptable. Yes, Israel has committed very questionable, if not vile, acts and have admitted to many civilian casualties. But this is not the Vietnam War, this is not Civil Rights, this is not George Floyd. This is a foreign war, with no American troops, and involves a very well known terrorist organization. Let the people of Israel protest the war in this manner. Let them speak for themselves. The end result of the protesters' demands becomes American troops on the ground to stop the fighting. Then what? Telling a few colleges to divest from Israel is a drop in the ocean. It won't stop anything. Protest and speak your mind, fine, you have that right. But what this has turned into is disgusting. These people just do not understand what is going on.

University leaders that can't fix a simple problem like this need to find another job. Perhaps its time to let men lead the way and shut this down.

We should ask what solutions to the Gaza situation they are thinking of? I mean, we give aid and the Hamas use the money to build underground tunnels. They never allow the Palestinians to use those tunnels during Israeli strikes…and when we give food aid, Hamas has yet to organize their end so the Palestinians don’t crush each other getting their food/aid. Many gangs take this aid and sell it. Hamas is not helping their own people. And do the students ever ask the question why on October 6th when peace agreements were being reached for Israeli/Palestian leader(Hamas) overseen by Saudis…the very next day, Hamas invades Israelis and tortures, rapes and kills Israelis in their own homes taking many hostages…even ones who are Palestinians? And thenIsraelis feel betrayed by the way their own leader, has treated and handled this situation …marching like the students against their own government months before this invasion by Hamas happened. If Hamas and Israeli governments ,wanted peace they would not have responded like this. The war needs to end…but, do not blame the Jews who aren’t all,Israelis or then Israeli people except the far right faction nor the Palestinians people..the leaders on both sides are screwing the people, what they want.
