I am from Eastover SC (20 minutes from Columbia) and lived on The River (Broad River) for 2 years at Bentley Court Apartments and almost every night there were at least 5 to 10 cop cars in the parking lot looking for someone. I’m still in Columbia but on the Northeast side, The Summit

I went to Army Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, SC in 1998. Went to the nearby town of Columbia on weekend passes a few times towards the end of Basic. The mall there is pretty sweet! ☺ I never remember seeing these parts of Columbia! 😲

Used to live on the corner of Lee and Heidt Street when I was at USC. Stone's throw from 5 Points.

Da Riva always been known to have its issues because of the apartments on that side but it ain't bad tho unless u at the movie car break in happen.

I’m from Detroit. I liked there by myself for a little while after living in Charlotte. I used to dance on Broad River Rd until it shut down. I met this guy at the strip club and we became good friends. I didn’t know anyone there and he looked out. I will never forget him. 💕

My grandma used to live across from the gas station they were at. I used to walk to that one when I was a kid.

I lived on Broad River for a lil while in The Hollows, never had any problems but then again I don't be in the mix with nobody. I can say this tho it's a lot of people in Columbia with nothing better to do.

I grew up there from the NY after my parents move there in the 80's. Had a lot of fun there I would never trade it, went to WJ Keenan used to lived in Belevedere. Moved back in the NYC though after high school.
