Hey guys! Today’s song is a really special one. This weekend we’re celebrating Colt’s birthday!!! Colt loves this song but we always thought it might be out of our wheelhouse since its so long and complicated. One of the cool things about our kids that I really admire is that if you tell them something might be too difficult, they’ll dedicate themselves to prove you wrong. Colt sat with them, patiently teaching them their parts. When it came time to film it, I couldn’t believe how it unfolded. It felt like they had been playing this song for years, not hours. I think Colt and I both had tears streaming down our faces by the end of this video. I am so thankful for Colt. You guys get to see how he teaches them music week to week which is pretty special, but I get a front row seat on how he teaches them about life and faith. He is patient, empathetic, loving, thoughtful, and compassionate among many other beautiful adjectives. We are so thankful for all that he is. Happy Birthday, Colt! We love you! Hello everyone! We're the Clark family. Colt (the dad) is a professional musician and Aubree (me, the mom behind the camera) is a photographer. Together we home school our three children.
