These make coloring things you didn’t think you can fun. There is an “AH HA!” Moment when you didn’t know you could do something. I LOVE THESE.

Wow! I now need this 2nd book!importing this 2nd book is very expensive 🥺 Your conversion charts to Prismacolors are so so useful! As a beginner, I’m trying to have a curated collection of pencils sets, your charts have allowed me to follow tutorials with my Prismacolors and not having to buy all those other brands. If I get any better I will buy the FC Polychromos.

I bought the last book because you showed everything in it, and I want to buy this one too. I am hesitant to buy books when I haven’t seen everything inside of it.

You showing each page is what makes me buy both books, it's what I would have been able to check for myself if I could get them at a bookstore (unfortunately coloring books etc are hard to come buy in physical shops where I live). I took a break from coloring and switched to watercolor for several years due to hand pain. I had purchased volume one back when it first came out. Thank you for this tutorial. I am just getting back to coloring and had totally forgotten about the book. I have ordered volume 2 and plan to purchase 3 & 4. These will be a tremendous help.

It is super complete, I long to have it, in France already waiting ... that details, to know .... what work! No doubt this one will sell and you help all the colourists! Thank you for your talent and your knowledge ....

Both of these books look great. They would be very easy with the step by step guide for beginners. I love the skin tutorials in both books. I also like the finished metal look. And Billy bonus you can practice along with the video she has done on skin in the first book.

Hi Claire, Thanks for reviews.I must say they are very detailed and thorough.I am keen on getting some of books that could me as a beginner colorist.Would you recommend these over Rachel Reinert's book or do you think having all three( Helen's and Rachel's) books would be better.Keen to get your response.Thanks.

Colour with Claire Amazon is not the most convenient option considering I live in Singapore.So I was wondering if there are any other online stores/resources that carry this book.Would you also recommend Jennifer Zimmermann’s Coloring Secrets book as well?

What is thé full name for Rachel and the name of her book, i have both oh Helen's but not Rachel. I have one other book called " Color Workshop " . Is that the one ?

I've seriously got to stop buying books and make myself get the first and second book. I've been coloring for little over a year now but I'm no where near even an intermediate colorist. I can see myself adding loads of techniques to my blooming skills.

Please stop saying "it's not perfect, but.....". Lol. Nobody's coloring is perfect, and a lot of people aren't happy with their own coloring even though others are wowed at how it came out. The point of the book is to learn, and when you're learning something, it's hardly ever perfect, no matter how hard you try--that's normal. I think colorists would rather follow others whose work is NOT perfect, I know I would. Just my opinion, anyway.

Looks like a brilliant book but I've not even got round to buying the first one yet lol. However, why does she always used Prismacolors, not everyone (including me) likes them. I tend to go for more realistic coloured pencils but I guess it's personal preference I suppose. Great video by the way!
