Oooh, I like that "out of five" idea. Really makes you get real about the book. It's so tempting to see one picture you like and let it tempt you to keep or buy the whole book.

I get all my books spiral bound at my local print shop, makes them so much nicer to work with. You can just flip the pages around and they lay nice and flat and take up way less space when open. Especially helpful for the thick ones. I actually started with my copy of Ivy and the Inky Butterfly because that thing is an absolute unit and caused me no end of struggles. I saw J. Bassford actually sold spiral bound copies and figured it sounded like a great idea. Then I did one of my Mythographics which had perforated pages and kept falling apart. Loved it so much I've done my entire collection now.

What a great idea to put most books on back stock. I ran out of room for books and art stuff that putting it in bins and stored away is the best solution for me. Thank you for sharing these great videos 😊

Hehe! I love the ones I'm keeping too. I just know I'll never colour in the ones I'm letting go, mainly because I was a bit free and easy with my book purchasing in the beginning 😆

Great book clear and yes that's what I did jump on the band wagon!! Like you I cleared a lot of my Angela porter books out and kept the original garden one too, better paper....and more likely to colour it now. 😊 We are goooood girls Lol haha! xx

@@ArtJourneyUK I’m not sure I’m happy for you to recommend. Maybe id like to do some blending and I don’t really like chisel ended ones and I don’t want to colour big massive areas and I’m all about animals so that’s what I’ll be colouring x

I really thought I had replied to this! I promise I wasn't ignoring you Allison. I also don't like chisel ended pens, they're just too chunky for me, so the Ohuhu Alcohol markers I bought were the brush and fine tip ones (these:- amzn.to/3rcq1SR). If you start with a small set you can decide you like them without spending too much money. For waterbased markers, I'd always recommend the Tombows, but they are expensive so its worth trying the Amazon markers (amzn.to/3NUxGyr) You can watch my comparison video here:- kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZmF309GaZc2WedI.html because if you don't have the Tombows they are a good place to start.
