Colour Tests in Copper and Vitreous Enamel

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I make a lot of enamel test pieces so that I can see how new colours look, how they combine with other colours and to see what is the best way to achieve particular effects. Here I talk about them while gluing my pieces to mountboard so that I can look at them in the future.
If you have questions about any of these pieces or there is a sample that you like the look of and would like me to make a video on how I made it, let me know in the comments!

Did you use an actual feather as a reverse stencil?

Trying to order eutectic solder but found several different kinds. What should I look for. Found one for stained glass. Your input greatly appreciated

If you get hard solder that will do as well. It should come in a strip. If you have access to a rolling mill I would the strip through a couple of times to thin it out a bit. Then just snip off a few pillions. I always tend to put on a bit more than I think I'll need just to be on the safe side...I don't like the idea of the bail falling off half way through the firing process!. You'll also need flux for the hard solder - whoever you purchase it from should give you the appropriate flux (it must be for hard solder).
