Jesus said “my Father, which is in heaven;” man says God came down from heaven. Which is the truth? It certainly is not the lying traditions of man. God has never once left His throne (Psalm 102:12). He has sent His Son to reconcile us back to Him. Jesus has told the world throughout the New Testament that the only true God _remains_ in heaven. It is God’s power and spirit that possesses Jesus (Proverbs 8:22) and all of God’s people (2 Corinthians 6:16). This is what it means *_to become one even as they are one_* (John 17:21-23). God the Father’s power and spirit works through those who are one in total agreement with His will, but this does not make them God. Moses was not God, but it was God who parted the Red Sea through him. Samson was not God, but God gave him strength to do His work. David is not God, but he won every battle he fought. People who endure witchcraft, eating and drinking poisons from evil ones but live in total peace and harmony-they are not God, but they have God’s power and spirit in them. Jesus is not God, but “the Father is with him and has *_not left him alone”_* (John 8:29). This is the same for all who love and obey the Father. Repent, come to Christ, and you will behold *the power of the Almighty God, the Father.* Amen.

Psalm 102:12 is saying that God is enthroned forever meaning figuratively that he is sovereign and worthy of our praise. It isn’t saying that he is sitting on a literal throne for all of eternity. I get what you’re saying but the problem you run into is that Jesus claimed to be God in the flesh. (John 6:35, John 8:58, John 10:3, Mark 2:5, John 14:6, ect) Jesus left us no room to classify him as the savior but not God. He never once claimed to be anything less than God

@@tobybrewer Where did Jesus CLAIM to be God in the flesh? "Before Abraham was, I am" is not a testament to Jesus being God...where are you and many others getting this notion from?? Jesus himself said he does what his Father *_COMMANDS_* him to say and speak (John 12:49-50). Does GOD take commandments? Does GOD die for our sins, or is this also meant to be taken in some other context? When Jesus calls his Father his God, does this also mean something else (John 20:17)? When Jesus says no man has seen GOD at ANY TIME, what do you propose this mean--or is it a "mystery" even though he told us he will give us the answers to the mysteries (Mark 4:11)? Jesus did not claim to be God. He claimed to be the SON _of_ God. "OF" God. There is a substantial difference in being God and being the Son OF God. "But to us there is but *_one God, the Father,_* of whom are all things, and we in him; and *_one Lord Jesus Christ,_* by whom are all things, and we by him." (1 Corinthians 8:6)
