Thank you for the review!! I was really wanting to get this book (& some others), but knowing now that the pictures AREN'T printed one-sided, I now don't want it! I've been ripped off by the same thing, saying that it was printed one-sided and it wasn't the case and they were books that I really wanted. But I like to use a wide variety of mediums and some of them bleed through the paper & mess up the designs on the back.

When the UK edition releases in May it *may* have single sided pages. The reason I say that is that it is 96 pages as opposed to the 88 in the edition. The description though on AZ does not refer to single pages so it's a case of wait and see with it. Using multi mediums you really need single sided so you are not limited with your choices to express your creativity. It's always a disappointment when books aren't as we expect but on the positive side if it's not for you, then you can buy something else that will make you happier. Happy coloring x

Thank you for the flip through. I was also suprised about he lack of one-sided pages, despite the description saying so. I wonder, the UK edition has 16 more pages, maybe that's where the one-sided ones are?

The US publishers site states it has the single page illustrations as per the video but what they mean is double sided printing with single page illustration. The blurb for the UK edition on both Amazon and the Publisher's site does not state there are single page illustrations that can be removed for display which is curious. The US edition has 88 pages and the UK 96. It will be interesting to see when it is released in May! Happy coloring x

I would rather a dozen double page spreads that fold out of the book than 30+ pages that are hard to colour to the centre and are printed on both sides. I would also appreciate great multipurpose paper that you could use with pencils and water colours.

Beautiful Book, the color pictures are absolutely Amazing, i'm like you Lee, i have all of his books but never colored any page on these books because it's intimidated and so detailed i have the feeling if i start to color a page i will have to spend a year or more before finishing it lol! Thank You Lea i'm so happy you make the review for this book because i ddin't know if i will buy or not but know i know!

I’ve found that I really like these books for the days that I’m distracted or kind of antsy and anxious. Lol. Take the page where the bunny with antlers is jumping in the air for example: I’ll color a few leaves and then put it up. Then a few days later I might color a few more. Finally, I’ll pick a day where I’m settled and really ready to color and I’ll color the bunny. It really makes the pages less intimidating when you do a bit at a time and then you can see your progress. At first I thought coloring it that way might make it look odd, or haphazard or something. But over time, I learned that if I kept out the markers or pencils I was using, kept them separated from the others, it was easy to color that way, and I never had trouble remembering what colors I was using-on a particularly detailed page I might write on a scrap paper something like “coloring the feathers of the toucan (and my pencil names or numbers that I was using)” just so I didn’t forget what I was working on or the colors I was using and put that scrap paper in my book so it was easy to come back to.

You know what? I felt relaxed just reading that! It seems so soothing when you describe it! Initally I found Kerby's books beautiful but overwhelming with detail. Now if I approach it a bite at a time I think it will be less intimidating for me. It's what I've been trying to do to deal with anxiety. I just choose a book and color all the things I feel like eg leaves until I've calmed down a bit. I've always put my pencils etc for a page that I'm working on aside in a pencil holder so I can come back to it when I feel like it. Sometimes I use my erasable pen to write on the page in case I forget too (very likely to happen). I like the way that you pick a day to settle in to color - I think I'm going to have to swipe that idea from you :) x . Happy coloring & thank you for sharing those ideas! - Lea x

Lea, i'm so Glad you feel relax just by reading my comment, i will comment more because i leave FB. for a while to much Drama there so phedup but you could swipe any of my ideas you'de like it's make me feel so important and great colorist lol! i love sharing my ideas with you Lea, after your video i take out one book of Kerby and i open the book choose a page and just try to choose the colors palettes i would like to use to color this page after 2 hours i had only 5 colors choose so i've close the book and put on my Bibliotheque for another Day lol! so May i will color on these books yes because they have more tutorials from Kerby's book but i will have to make my mind in another way by choossing the colors for only one things on the page who came 50 times and do these at first and after seen next, this is where i'm at with Kerby, i would love having a chat with this Phenomanal Artist and have his advices how Helpful it would be.....Talk to you soon my friend and to me keep my colored pencils aside to don't loose them well it's impossible don't stop put them on a tray and pick some colors to do another Design so what happen when i came back i don't have a clue what colors i took to do these leaves who are Fabulous and i never ever founf the same great combo so i promess to myself the next time i choose a colors palettes for leaves or so,howerver i will do all so that wahy they will be all Fantastic lol! Fantamorhia and geomorphia Front pages double page full illustrations are new in this book 😊

I only have one book from Kerby and had been wanting other ones so this one was awesome! I bought it and I’m super excited. But I do have to say that I would probably not buy all the other ones. There is only one more that I may get.

I have to say that I agree with you. If this one had come out first ...I probably would be satisfied with just that without the need to collect the whole set. I love the colored inspirational images in this one and the compilation format. Happy coloring x

This is a nice book. And I agree wholeheartedly with what you said about him going out with this book rather than fantomorphia and geomorphia 😒 I think I will be getting this despite what I said about not buying any books from him again after feeling so ripped off after fantomorphia 👍🏻❤️ thanks for the review.

A lot of people really like Fantomorphia ...but I've never warmed to it. To me, it should have been book 1 compiled of random stuff in a drawer ha ha! I'm glad he's released Colormorphia it finishes the series on a high imo. Happy coloring x

I wouldn't feel intimidated by Kirby's images, the more detail a colouring page has the easier it is to colour. I always think going back to kids colouring books is harder to get a stunning image, because there is less light reference guidance.

You are quite right. If I just break it down into little sections or parts of the pic I might not feel so overwhelmed. I'll have to give it a try! The thought of doing a kids coloring book is actually scary ...so much open space! Happy coloring x

Is the paper comparable or the same as the paper in his other books?

Apparently, he was only contracted for the "morphia" series. The publishers then negotiated a few more books in that series. According to Kerby's comments on social media last year ..this is the end of coloring books as he has many other commissions to do so. He didn't rule out doing other books though in the future. Hopefully, one day we'll see something else but I doubt it will be "morphia" related. Happy coloring x

Ok I was wondering what this book was about. The colored art is Amazing! Yeah his publishers seem to be incapable of telling the truth. In no universe is this single sided. 7:04 sip ☕ 7:07 CHOKE! Is THAT the Fox from Fatamorphia!?? A WHOLE Fox 😲? It IS! 😃 Ahhhhhh! Kerby got us a Whole Fox!! Ok I'm sold! 9:15 And that's the Bear from Geomorphia though I honestly can't remember if there was a Whole Bear to color in that book. Oh this is Awesome! Yes! This is a much better way for the series to end! His publishers made a mess of the last 2 books and still stuck their inaccurate 2 cents in with the blurb here, but Kerby's art is displayed Beautifully! Which is what counts with me. A whole Fox! I can't wait to get it! Thanks so much! 😃

ha ha yes finally those two pictures can be completed in full! Such an odd decision to have half the animal featured when Kerby is renowned for his double page scenes! I'm at a loss to see why they would describe the pages in that way but interesting the UK description omits that completely. It will be interesting to see the UK edition as it has 96 pages to see if they are single sided - as opposed to the 88 in this US edition. I'm glad he ended with this book - it would have been such a shame to end with either of the last two. Happy coloring x

The only new thing in this book are the double page spread of his last two book's front page illustrations

I wonder why in may theres another version coming out with 96 pages? tThat one is called Colourmorphia and this one is Colormorphia.

The release in May is the UK edition. It has more pages and I've been wondering if it will have some true single sided images on it. The publisher's site and the product description does not say that though so it's a case of wait and see. Happy coloring x

That paper looks terrible. Hard to tell because very little was discussed about this aspect of the book in this video and she treats the paper like with kit gloves. There ARE other publications and I caught that this one is plume.. I’m not going to buy plume. Please pay more attention to the paper quality in video reviews.

Colormorphia actually lays quite flat and the paper is very good and thick in the US edition. Happy coloring x
