@@djboy8373true. Do not overfill... just like with a hand steamer, too much water won't let the machine make the " smoke" . Also don't add perfume, use essential oils or mineral based oil. Baby oil is my quick pick

Do not overfill. Make sure your USB is the correct 5v wire ( some cheap wires won't work , some will, but the one that came with the machine always works). For more " smoke" you need to add oils like mint or lemon
