Beautiful and so helpful. If someone wanted a set of four it would take days to make them. I love how it all blends so nicely. Thank you for sharing this video.

Hi! Great video! Beautiful!! Have you ever had a problem with the resin popping off? I realize these should be hand wash only. I have not ever had that happen but it was brought to my attention that it can. do you have any thoughts on this?

Goodness, I don't know. I've had at least one sitting in the sun and heat for well over a year that still looks good, so perhaps it was the inks. When you say you did something similar, you did use resin, correct?

@@mwaldo97 Yes, that's right. I pretty much followed you step for step BUT I am very new to resin so I was using some cheap inks I got off Amazon. Not the Pinata ones that you did. I wonder if that made a difference? I was gutted, I loved what I made and now it's just this hidous smudgy pinky colour. Fortunately it was just a cheap Ikea vase I practised on. :)

We live in an old farmhouse on a gravel road and battle dust constantly. The heat guns blow dust particles into the resin so my preference is the torch.

Hi Helen, I'm sorry you had trouble with your project! It's hard saying what happened there. Did you have it on a cup turner that spun fast enough to keep the resin on the cup? Did you make sure to measure both parts of your resin according to the instructions on the resin you used? Did you give it the appropriate amount of time to cure before stopping the cup turner? Those are just a few ideas I can think of that might help troubleshoot.

@@helenmiller7753 without being able to see what happened, it's really hard to tell from here. It's possible that your cup turner is too slow. It's possible that you put so much resin on the cup that it couldn't hold it all. To test your cup turner, I would just place a drop of water on a cup (while it's spinning) and watch it. It should make the drop of water stay on the cup as the cup goes around. If it drips off, your turner is likely too slow. I had a friend who had this issue with the cup turner she purchased. If the water drip stays on the cup, I would guess that perhaps it was just too much resin.
