Trout fishing can be tough. That's why I use the Colorado XT pontoon boat for trout trolling.. so I can cover more water. This trolling for rainbow trout adventure takes place at a mountain lake in the middle of the North Cascade National Park. I am trolling for rainbow trout on my nine foot pontoon boat, the Colorado XT fishing pontoon. Some fish were caught and some were lost and fun was had in the sun! It got crazy windy all of a sudden and I had to jet back to the car while the wind was favorable. Catch and cook up a delicious rainbow trout at a little beach on the lake and enjoyed the view.

Would you be kind as to outline your setup? Line, weights, spinners, etc. I have a pontoon too and always wanted to troll… but people are to secretive of their gear or technique. 🐳

I'm not secretive at all! I will be making several videos on my pontoon boat setup and my trolling setup soon. It'll be fairly in depth so that should cover it. Hope that helps!
