You my friend epitomize the idea of "Game Management". With the high winter kill from 2023, many of the smaller bulls you passed will be killed by less discerning hunters. You cant kill a big bull if you shoot a small bull! Your episode was excellent with incredible video, comments and music. The final scene of the star filled sky was exceptional. I enjoyed your hunt and know that your experience will be a great life memory.

Nice. Do you like how your wind indicator comes out of the bottle? If not, try holding the bottom against your thumb, and the end of your pointer finger over the spout, shake it, and then squeeze. You get no clumps, and a nice, fine, and even little cloud. Try it out.

I had one one my previous elk hunts I’ve shared. I found it too hard to take the camera on and off my head. Going to try those tacti cams next

Way to stick to your guns! CO OTC is for sure a grind at times to find that bull that you would be happy to stick your tag on. I passed a small 5x5 on 2nd day of season and seen two bigger 6x6 on later dates in bow range. Ultimately never did punch my tag, but holding out and the experiences that came after passing that first bull was worth it and the 15 days I spent in the mountains during September.

The big game broghsher states bow must be fully inclosed in a hard or soft case during big game season when operating ATV or OHV.

It looked like most of those bulls pegged you right away.

12-25 yards is pretty close. 12 yards bull didn’t even see me. Only the bulls I knew I wasn’t going to shoot saw me and that was because I was blatantly filming them

Well it’s my job so documentating the best I possibly can is important. If it was a truly big bull then yes of course I would drop the camera like years past. None of these bulls were all that big though

Well it’s good to hear that you would drop filming if it was big enough. Sorry it’s just still strange to me n I’m on the fence with content creators making their living from hunting. I can understand the product industry of hunting just the content creating from purely hunts is strange. It puts a weird twist to things. Your family’s food on the table and roof over your head is based off of if you are successful in killing an animal or not. It’s making hunting not just something fun and a passion but turning it into something you are relying on being successful or not in order to take care of your family. For me personally I wouldn’t look at hunting the same anymore if capturing a kill on film dictated whether or not I made any money

The speech impediment is just so distracting form an otherwise decent hunting video
