By FAR the best D Chip has had at UCLA and it's not even close. *8th best scoring D. 15 points a game (but they are actually better than this as they count the 3 pick 6's that Dante Moore threw as "scoring"). So they are actually probably #4 in scoring D. *10th best in total yards per game. *2nd best rushing D at only 63 yards a game. *#1 in QB pressures... *Great D coordinator and some really talented players with experience. If DTR was playing this year - UCLA would be an extremely tough team to beat as they are now using inexperienced QBs trying to learn the offense - so the O isn't what it was the past 2 seasons. *They will probably have a hard time keeping the D coordinator (D'Anton Lynn) after this season - as his stock is now sky-high. He is now worth his weight in gold.

Colorado was 7-60 in this game to the UCLA 9-85. The yards per penalty were 8.5 and 9.4 respectively for the whole game. Seems fair until you realize almost every Colorado penalty had an automatic first attached to it. UCLA is a team with poorly coached players that are allowed to play in an unscrupulous way. The twins should have been ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct fouls in the first quarter to go along with your best pass rusher after taunting and unsportsmanlike conduct. Colorado didn't lose this game they were cheated out of it to maintain the status quo.

I never bought into the hype. They were three touchdown underdogs to a very average TCU team. It wasn't the same TCU team that was undeservedly placed in the CFP last year after losing to Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship Game, a Kansas State team that Alabama beat easily. The refs orchestrated the TCU win over Michigan for anyone who remembers the game. Colorado is not good and never was. Nebraska had a black QB who gave CU the game, and Colorado State is one of the worst teams in Division I. I made a lot of money betting Oregon -20.5 against CU when a lot of people couldn't fathom the Buffaloes not keeping it close. Stop listening to the lies that the liberal media perpetuates. 🤦

Now that Colorado is 4-4, there are a couple of things I want to see: #1) No more national coverage every week. The team doesn't deserve this much spotlight. There are teams that are still undefeated who we never see (e.g., Washington Huskies) that could benefit much more from having their title run broadcast to the nation. #2) Deion needs to take the money and run. Trying to rebuild the Buffaloes was a cute idea in the off season. But now, the party is over. If the NFL offers up him a coaching opportunity, take it an never look back.
