In this video I’m going to talk about the color wheel, created by Isaac Newton, talk a little bit about its creation process, and also about color theory, branding and fashion. I also teach you how to use the color wheel step by step, starting from the cool X warm colors and then navigating through the primary, secondary and tertiary colors.
I also talk a lot about color harmony and its hues, tints, tones and shades once the hues are diluted with white, gray or black.
And lastly, I explain the difference among: monochromatic, analogous, complementary, split-complementary, triadic and tetradic (square and rectangle) color schemes with lots of examples of how those techniques are used in brands and logos from famous brands and companies.
