Chromatic grey is so versatile depending on how much of each primary color you mix in. It can be warmer, or more red, as shown here, more green with more yellow, or more cool, or mixed with more blue. Chromatic greys add way more depth and life to a painting that would otherwise be more dull with plain grey. I love painting!

Purple technically isn't a colour on its own. There are millions of shades of purple, and really, it doesn't have a shade that's just referred to as purple, unlike red. The span of colours for purple which are still considered purple is virtually endless. Red is pretty picky and doesn't have that large a colour wheel, instead they vary into pink or orange.

Legend has it, miku is still thinking miku.

genuine color mixing tip for those interested: consider adding magenta and cyan to your palettes (i like quinacridone magenta and phthalo blue). in addition to yellow, they form the subtractive primary colors, which allows you to mix much more vibrant shades of purples and pinks. you can also mix blue and red with them! mess around and see what happens, its pretty cool.

That's actually a really cool way of visualizing it

Actually red and blue paint DO make purple. Red and blue light make pink light and purple is a shade of pink. Since paint reverses the primary collour scheme mixing red and blue paint would result in a darker collour rather then a lighter one like with light, thus creating purple instead of pink. The reason that isnt happening here is because she isnt using a proper blue (this one is actually indigo and not blue)

It's not magenta(in this video). You can not produce magenta by mixing pigments. Magenta is a primary colour.
