Hi Jeffree! I'm a pharmacist, and I often work with cosmetic formulations. Dodgy formulations from the internet can contain lead, which you know is TERRIBLE for your skin. BUT you can test for it at home! All you need to do is swatch a small amount of product, let it dry down, and rub a little bit of gold on it. If the product starts going grey, it contains lead and you definitely shouldn't put it on your face. Just a concerned fan looking out for your skin!

@@atewanders3928 Gold jewellery works just fine! It shouldn't alter the colour of the gold, the gold may pick up some of the lead and look a bit grey, but it will rub off; I test my makeup with a gold necklace all the time!

I actually ordered it thinking, 'whats the worst that could happen?' I applied it with no other makeup just to see how it feels on my skin. It did not feel good btw, so I removed it with a makeup wipe and there was some kind of skin tone, but not my match 🤷

You are definitely my feel good go to! I’m feeling a bit blah, and I needed some laughs.

Omg lol this is my favorite foundation! I have naturally dry skin, and this has almost got a more oily base that makes my face feel so hydrated. Admittedly, the smell is similar to sunscreen, but I actually like that smell (hits some sort of nostalgia for me). It only looks so pale on him because he is PALE. I'm always between shades, especially transitioning from winter to summer when my skin gets naturally darker. This ALWAYS matches my skin no matter what. I've tested it on friends with much darker/lighter skin than mine, and it still blended seamlessly. I swear by this stuff!

I actually have this foundation. I'm very picky about my foundation but I love this stuff! The best way to get it to work is to use your hands to apply. It's something about the heat that helps activate the color changing properties. I truly love this product. It's best if you dont prefer full coverage!

Thank you Jeffree, I was just about to purchase this! I suffer really badly with allergies all I have to do is wear a nickel earring for a matter of minutes & I end up in A&E (ER). Another bad for me more on the makeup scale is isopropyl alcohol, I can’t wear shellac nail varnish or use the anti- sticky ‘prep and wipe’/ ‘prep & shine’ stuff that they use alongside shellac, because it all contains isopropyl alcohol & it can put me in intensive care! Lead containing mascaras can also start to make my vision look to me like I’ve had my eyes underwater in a chlorine swimming pool for half an hour- everything is grey & blurring, really scary & my vision can stay that way up to 14 days! It’s very scary to think about what ingredients this could contain & I’m so glad you removed it quickly! I hope it didn’t give you any adverse effects & again thank you, I’m so glad I didn’t buy this as it could’ve been a quick trip to the hospital if I had!
