Colonial homes in Marblehead, MA

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Would you like to follow along as I take a friend, who moved to New England three years ago from Michigan, on a drive and a town tour of Marblehead, MA? We walk down some of the charming streets to look at Colonial homes, the cemetery where Hocus Pocus was filmed, lunch at The Landing, and a little bit of shopping.

Marblehead is such a charming town. I think that it’s adorable that your friend thought that New England was just a place in the movies and I am very glad that she’s getting to live out her dream here in our beautiful New England. I am the planner of day trips with my girlfriends and I always get excited when we go off on our little jaunts of shopping and lunch! I love your videos where you explore these lovely places…thanks so much!💕

This was simply beautiful. You have roses already it shows your weather is nice. I’m in British Columbia, Canada. it’s very cold and only 54 Fahrenheit. We’ve had a cold spring and rainy one at that.I always loved that area where you live. When I lived in Ottawa Ontario it was easy to get a lovely drive down through Quebec. Driving to Boston or Vermont is beautiful and heavenly. I’m glad I found your channel. Thank you for taking us on your journey.💕🌈🇨🇦

Loved that! We have lived in Marblehead for 36 years and absolutely love it! We own a small sailboat and waited 18 years to get a mooring in that beautiful harbor. It was worth the wait, nothing beats sitting on the boat on a gorgeous summer evening and watching the yachts sail by, it's really pure heaven. I am so glad you and your friend had an enjoyable visit here.

Hello, to part your boat you had to wait 18 years? That many people waiting. I am in LA so I can relate to the Hallmark comment.

We were in Marblehead last week. We toured the Jeremiah Lee house and had lunch at a little pub someone suggested. We stayed at the Ipswich Inn. Also toured the Crane Estate and Ipswich Museum. My ancestors from England sailed to Ipswich before being granted land to start Suffield, Ct. Can’t wait to see more of your video.

Thank you for this wonderful tour, Linda. Marblehead is such a beautiful place to visit. I especially love the picture-perfect harbor area, the homes, and the old cemetery. The area is much like Newport, RI. BTW - my daughter, also named Linda, is the administrator at The Sailing Museum on Thames Street which opened last month. You might want to check it out.

Linda I needed this video. We did not have 60 degrees here in southeastern La. We had 98 degrees with humidity. My car broke down on the way to my sister’s house. I had to wait 2 hrs for Tow truck. Very hot! The silver lining we had people stop and gave a water. One person had a Wendy’s frosty gave to my husband. A plus broke down by a horse and a donkey was able to visit with them. Thank you for the relaxing video. Haaa!🤗

New England is absolutely charming but the real estate prices are staggering by most home buying standards. Thus is nothing new, which is why so many northern retirees head south. NE is in my family tree but I just can’t afford to move there. ☹️

I loved your tour and your friend’s new You Tube channel sounds great . I spent 8 summers at a camp called Beenadeewin on Lake Fairlee, in Ely, VT. It is no longer there and has been turned into a town recreation area. When l first took my daughter to another girls camp on Lake Fairlee, we stopped and walked around the old campsite. The little town has not changed, but the numbers of camps on the lake has . Now we are looking at a camp on the same lake for my grandsons for next summer. There is something about NE that just calls to you .
