Each of these peoples and nations left an indelible mark on the town which now has one of the most interesting cultures and cuisines in Europe. In this video you will see beautiful cobblestone streets, colorful fairy-tale-like half timbered houses, tourists and locals alike enjoying the delicious local culinary specialities, bustling streets with French intermixed with the local Alsatian dialects, and the magnitude of different languages spoken by the tourists venturing to this beautiful town from all over the world. The restaurants in Colmar weren’t that expensive. We paid €40 for two people for a nice lunch including tip. So it was pretty reasonable!
