I find this very unproductive cause your going to say something and then they will take you for a spin! in this mind deceptive game take you around and around no where. Spending resources on a group that loves to contradict and confused. They never ever want to know the truth their truth is contradiction.

Jeff, I need some advice. My wife was raised Christian and when she met me I turned her away from believing in God because I never did. After discovering you about a year ago, I now believe in God. I have explained this to her and she can’t believe my stance has changed and she is not willing to open her heart to Christ again because of the discussions we have had in the past about religion. We now have 2 children and when I bring up the possibility of introducing them to God or going to church or anything religious she is so against it. I don’t know what to do and I feel guilty because I know it’s my fault I’ve done this to my family because I was young and dumb. You have introduced me to so much that I had rejected before and I’m grateful to you for opening my eyes. I’m hoping you could provide some advice for when 1 previously atheist person in a marriage finds Christianity and the other person isn’t open to sharing the same beliefs. Love your content and your mission!

One, it's not your fault *_John 10:28 "and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand_*. This means that no man can ever make another not believe. Her unbelief is her responsibility and if she changed her mind because of things you had said in the past, she has, and had, a preexisting heart issue going on that cannot be solved by you. The best thing you can do is continue to pray for her and a change in both of your hearts, a change in the heart of your marriage, and then lead by example. Pray for wisdom and discernment on how to navigate you conversations about it with her. Walk your Christian walk, continue to talk with her about your transformation. Don't hide this part of yourself, that won't do anyone any good at all. Living a Christian life example will influence a thought process in her. The rest of it is truly up to her and the Lord. No one is in charge of another's salvation. As far as going to church, go yourself. Continue to go and make it a priority. Make it part of your life. Continue to invite her to join you and say that you want to bring the kids with you. Eventually, I'm willing to bet, she will go with you and you'll be taking the kids. I know as men we like to take a problem head on, figure out a plan to fix, and execute but in this delicate situation, it sounds like something that will take more time and finesse. Don't ridicule her or get angry at her for not joining you, as that will just put up the defenses. Make the changes in yourself and your life. Your loved ones, seeing your change and renewal, will want to get in on the action. Pray, pray, pray and ask the Lord to reveal himself you and your family. Pray that he reveals what YOU must do to navigate this. Then pray some more. I know you asked Pastor Jeff but I figured I'd throw my hat in the ring.

As a convert who basically mocked and ridiculed believers in my past life, in your position, I believe the only thing to do is to repent to God, to your wife, and live by example for the rest of your life. You’re making an incorrect assumption, that you pulled her off the path before. You didn’t. She pulled herself. You were just the excuse she needed. For that same reason, you can’t pull her back on the path. She has to get back on herself. Prayers to you friend.

So I recently listened to a sermon and in that sermon the pastor talks about idolatry. That sermon answered my question, how can people be so wrong about Scripture? The answer is that an idolator creates a god in their mind that he can worship that accommodates their sin and the idolator will even worship his/her perversions like homosexual Brandan Peterson or other sinners like serial killers and so on. ThaT makes perfect sense! Praise God that He answers questions. In my opinion, Christian pastors debating or arguing with idolators is arguing and debating with a person like Gollum in the movie, “The Lord of the Rings.” Remember him? He was obsessed with that ring and called it, “my precious.” Idolators are liken to Gollum in that they are convinced that their sin is everything to them-their sin is precious. We ought not to address false pastors with the title pastor bc that gives them both credence and credibility. What we ought to do instead is assign them the title Gollum as in Gollum Brandan Robertson for he is an idolator whose sin that he worships is homosexual sex that God says that He hates and that is both an abomination and detestable to Him.

Brandan is just honest to admit, as long as we are human we don’t know for sure. The heart matters, not the beliefs or theology. It is the message not the messenger. That is why Jesus said “he who believes in me those not believe in me” Jesus failed with his predictions that his generation will see the end of the world. Jesus was not infallible, nor the Bible is. All religion is pure men made. But devotion and spirituality is something totally different.

We are returning to many of the same issues that plagued the early Catholic Church in the era of the Church Fathers. One can do a thorough study of Scripture to find the biblical data to explain the meaning of the faith. However, the historic creeds of the Church (like the Nicene Creed) are also helpful in understanding properly the "meaning" of Christianity. This diabolic trend is occurring across Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant apologetics circles. Brandan Robertson is only one exponent of this apostasy taking place in our world today. Perhaps this is part of the Great Apostasy that Scripture warns us about? A "Christian agnostic" is an oxymoron! Brandan Robertson is so close to the New Atheism, except for his sentimentality about Christianity. He doesn't even realize how close he is!

If one encounters, those who are mentioned in the book of Jude (Clouds without rain, blemishes at your love feast for whom the blackest darkness is reserved forever) does one simply rebuke them such as the arch angel rebuked Satan or does one engage in debate with such a person? I think what he means is that he uses the Christian scriptures as a tool to help him make sense of the world. But that he doesn’t believe they are actually True. Only so far as they are useful to him to make sense of the world as HE sees it. In other words, branden Robertson uses the Bible to back up the things he already believes and ignores it where it goes contrary to his own preferences and pre held beliefs. He doesn’t worship the one true God. He worships a distorted image of God. One that he shapes to fit his idea of who god should be. A god he can pick apart into many tiny little pieces and and assemble into the god of his own choosing. not God, but god. Praise God. And may he give you all your daily bread today brothers and sisters.

What is the Biblical definition of love vs Satan’s definition of love? Homosexuals use love to mean acceptance of their sin, but love in the Bible means repentance and rejection of sin; therefore, people must repent of their sin and reject sin in order to have the correct relationship with God and with mankind. For example: Imagine serial killers establishing a serial killer community and exclaiming that they love their victims therefore murder is acceptable and even Holy to God. Is that ridiculous? Well ThaT is exactly what the LGBTQ+ community and homosexual Brandan Robertson exclaim. Homosexuals love their sexual sin partners therefore LGBTQ+ Community is acceptable and even holy to God. Obviously that ideology is preposterous because love does not excuse murder no more than love excuses homosexuals and other sexual sinners. Sin is sin and there will always be sinners who want their sin more than God. There will always be sinners that refuse to repent of the sin so instead they blaspheme God all the way down the wide road of destruction that ends in eternal hell for unrepentant sinners to go and be rewarded for their sins forever and ever. Amen. Jesus says in Matthew 7:13, “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way.” Homosexual Brandan Robertson is one of many who has entered the wide gate and is on the broad highway to hell. His god and father is Satan.

Apologia, can you dive into the Restoration Movement doctrine? "Church of Christ" doctrine... seems to be going around like crazy. The basic difference is they believer a person must be baptized (water immersion) to go to heaven. From the few conversations I've had with people, there's a lot of pride and refusal to admit even basic scripture truths like our faith crediting us righteous.

Certainly rational apologetics has its place in evangelism. And yet God has fashioned the salvation process to require a surrender of our will, that we would have no basis for boasting. One foot in the Kingdom, and one foot in our worldly sin, will never bring clarity or assurance.

We are to be good stewards of the resources God has given us, so the first question is: is buying a tattoo a good use of this resource? Second, how will it be viewed by the brothers and sisters in the local church? We should try to live in such a way so as not to cause unnecessary offence. Thirdly, how will it affect my testimony to the world? We should be aiming to set a godly example and be above reproach in all things.

Mike Winger has a really good video on this. In a nutshell, we are not to do things that are offensive to our weaker brothers, so getting tattoos (anymore of them at least), should be done where they could be hidden. Read Romans 14 to get more of a gist of what I'm trying to say. Leviticus 19:28 is the passage typically used by people that are anti tattoo but when reading the passage in context, it appears that the verse is speaking of pagan practices of tattooing and body modification as a way of mourning the dead so I don't really think it applies to just getting a tattoo itself. Pay attention to Romans 14:22-23 on whether or not you yourself should get anymore tattoos. Basically, if you feel it is sinful to do it and you do, then it is sin. If you don't feel it's sinful and you're good with God, you get them in a place that is not visible to a brother who might be offended, then it is not a sin. That's my take on it. I have tattoos all over (full sleeves) but I won't be getting anymore that would be visible and truthfully, since my rebirth, I don't even feel the desire to get anymore anyway. Please just read Romans 14 and really try to soak it in and check out Mike Winger. The guy is an amazing teacher on how to think about everything we do biblically.

I used to follow the new age guru Adi Da Samraj (aka Franklin Jones). He said a lot of junk, but one thing that I've kept in my arsenal is one great idea. He said: 'There are BIG G gurus, and there are small g gurus. BIG G gurus are the real spiritual enlightened being, like Ramana Maharishi. small g gurus are students whose egos got too big for their bodies.' You could change this to BIG M ministers and small m ministers. Brandan is a small m minister, a small p pastor, and barely a student ... more like trying to create his own thing. He's as much a student as Mary Baker Eddy was - NOT.

This JEFF DURBIN guy is the SEAN HANNITY of American Evangelicalism. Ruslan is the TMZ of American Evangelicalsim. This JEFF DURBIN guy likes to use the monikers, like "Christian" and "Biblical." But let's get something straight: He doesn't get to hijack the label "christian." He's just an EVANGELICAL christian. And him determining what is "biblical?" Let's get another thing straight: He's a Reformed Calvinist, so what he's calls "biblical" is just reformed biblicism - which is only 500 years old (if that), and his viewpoint mostly invented after the American Civil War. So what this "FIGHT-FOR-THE-"TRUTH" guy calls "biblical" or "christianity ", is actually 19th & 20th Century American ChristianISM. It's an IDEOLOGY not a faith. Don't be fooled. And anybody who lists the cult and pharisaical, Apologia Studios, as a resource... does NOT know, intellectually, Church history, but rather is puffed up with the knowledge of American Evangelical ChristianISM. That's all.

God the Father must call a person before they can have faith, as our hearts are wicked and wavering and do not desire God without that calling.(John 6:44) No Christian, can hold Brandan accountable to biblical teaching without knowing whether Brandan has been called. If you're not trained in engineering, you can't fault another for saying they want to live by solid mathematical standards. Meanwhile, having your own ideas on making things. No one would say, "You're not an engineer, how dare you like math and use it". Brandan appears to have conflicting views, maybe so, but don't make the mistake of judging him by standards he himself admits not to hold. Therefore, if God does call Brandan. We will all know. God is big enough to handle any question and rest assured, he will answer them all by the last day.
