That Fistbump from foundation to Jonesy was The Icing on the cake to this awesome event. I remember back on C2S6 when Foundation couldn’t trust Jonesy But when He said “I can take you to Geno” he gave him a chance and that’s what he exactly did. A true friend always keeps his promises and Jonesy did exactly that!

His name is actually John Jones. Jonesy is just a snapshot of him. Plus he never knew who the real Geno was and thought Gunnar was the guy in charge the whole time. He angrily exclaimed that he has been working for the I.O for 165+ years and did not know who Geno really was. Dr.Slone after realising this, roasted him berfore ordering Gunnar to kill him, Foundation, Imagined and Spiderman (Yes spiderman is canon in fortnite now).

The event was so well made, the animations were so smooth I may not be a video game designer but this was epic and its nice to know Jones kept his promise

This event is still the best one yet, just barely over the end of chapter 2. It’s part of what made chapter 3 season 2 so good. Please don’t do more fractures, do more collisions.

Since the Mech wasn’t destroyed at the end of the event and it appears to still be on the island we might see it appear in another event next season. Maybe another Devourer from the ice moon could be sent to the island? This could also be where we see what the left arm on the Mech does, since it looks exactly like the top of the Visitor’s rockets. Weaponized rifts would be cool to see.

There was so much pre-event dialogue-the banter between Origin, Jonesy and the Foundation was fantastic! “I think the windshield wipers can hold up for another hour.” XD The lo-fi music on the to be continued screen needs its own permanent soundtrack station on vehicle radios. (I personally throw on a lo-fi playlist on Spotify and play it through my PlayStation-it’s pretty nice to have a chill soundtrack while taking down IO guards). All in all, fantastic event! Go Voltron-er, MechaTeddy Force!

For the lofi, Epic put out a statement explaining that they are using new technology. Meaning a computor is producing it as its playing in real time, and no to sessions will ever be the same as each other... for the most part.

This event absolutely blew me away. The visuals, the interactivity, the music, all of it nearly took my breath away. Even the dialogue while we were waiting for it to start was fun to hear, and amusing to listen to. This was, without a doubt, the best Live Event in the history of Fortnite Live Events. I loved every second of it and I had goosebumps the whole time! No future Live Event will ever top this one, period. This was a perfect event to end off Season 2. I'm glad I got to experience it. It was so good and it absolutely blew me away!

This event immediately became my favourite because it combined 2 of my previous favourite events: The Device and The Final Showdown

Kind of underwhelming ending but the entire fighting sequence was absolutely phenomenal! 8/10 event, really enjoyed it, that waiting lobby inside the mech at the moon base, with all the event lore being delivered at these 45 minutes was just top-tier. 👌🏻😌

I love this event! When it said “to be continued..” I thought it was not the end. But that was just downtime. Love the animations in the zero point. In the purple style of the zero point. Wow it’s been a year and this still amazes me how good it was.

@@BiggestN well you see, every skin works with a common bone stucture, same for every skin. They don't have to animate every skin for the event. Moving bone system also works like this for emotes.

The fistbump Foundation gave Jones was so wholesome loved it

Hopefully the events are as good as this one was this hands down was my absolute favorite fortnite event especially since we got to take full control over the mecha’s weapons!!!

It just hit the 1 year mark. One of, if not the best event. Time flies by, i remember it like it was yesterday

That fist bump that Foundation and Jones did was awesome and heartwarming! This event was a masterpiece!

No idea. I’ll keep watching them in hope that they won’t mess and make a truly good one with great detail again.

The part when the Collider exploded is one of the most best fortnite live event scenes I've ever seen. The music and the effects we're on fire. Who knew we went from a short rocket live event to this. Bravo, Fortnite!

11:14 And presumably Slone got killed by falling and getting crushed by Paradigm. Gotta love how Jones is like "Uh Slone look behind you" like he didn't want her to die necessarily. I wonder if she somehow survived that. Edit: If she can Clone herself 3 times I wonder if this Slone wasn't the real Slone. Now that would be a Twist.

Thank you so much for these, it's great to see a more cinematic pov from people who know what to focus on like Jonesy and Foundation's teamwork at 10:05 when so many of us miss stuff like that with everything else going on. Incredible event, the team always raises the bar further and further and every time I have no idea how it can possibly be topped. :)

Man, the nostalgia setting in just watching this a year later. Since I started in chapter 3, this makes me remember when I first started playing.

@@markgomez8228 On the chapter 1 ending picture it shows the battle bus going. But in Chapter 3, the battle bus is going the other way. Also the sun is setting, which is probably a countdown to the final chapter 3 season

I wouldn’t call this an event. I would call this an interactive movie. It was just so great!

1 year anniversary of the last best and amazing event we’ve had ever seen🥳

People can act like this wasn’t a good event then say a rocket rifting is the best thing they’ve ever experienced

Fracture was a crappy live event! For me, Collision was the best story event so far!

that was awesome! thanks for the cool adventures! my favorite part was when the foundation gave a fistbump to jones, it meant alot to see them as friends and recognizing each others hard work. epic stuff!

The origin was my favourite character this season I like his voice actor
