In the end fight, when Tony asks Bucky if he even remembered his parents, Bucky responds with, "I remember everything." Does he not have any remorse? Despite being brainwashed, Bucky seems to own these actions, instead of saying something like, "That wasn't me", etc. What do y'all think about Bucky's apparent blame taking for the Starks' deaths and how this factors into his motivations, and/or Cap's ability to forgive him and conceal the information from Tony.

The Russo Brothers deserve an enormous amount of credit. Not just for just capturing lightning in a bottle, but this premise. Civil War, while a flawed event, was a monumental turning point in Marvel comics. The premise itself was fantastic and at first was rather intriguing. That was before, Stark was portrayed as a dick and the comic just went full crazy. I digress. While I do prefer the Winter Soldier(as an overall movie), I do feel like this movie is superior to the comic and is easily the second best MCU movie in my view. The Russo's and the screenwriters(same guys who wrote the Narnia movies. I loved the first two) managed to craft such an intelligent screenplay. Almost every character had a reason to fight or be there. Neither felt shoehorned nor had limited screen time(I'm looking at you Whedon with Thor in AOU). Though. Hawkeye's appearance you could argue was tacked on. But this just goes to show that this film built on the MCU and really further validated the idea of a shared movie universe. With that said, the two leads, RDJ and Chris Evans were perfect in their respective roles. Especially, RDJ as Iron Man; easily the best I've seen him since Iron Man one. He's not just throwing out quips; his character is handled with a lot of grace and you can see where he is coming from. And while Spider-man is the talk(I really liked Tom Holland. I don't think he's the definitive Spider-man yet, but man he was great), Black Panther for me was the standout. Chadwick Boseman brought his A game and let me say his arc was incredible. I want to see a Black Panther movie(I've been waiting to see him). If anything, Zemo while great did feel a bit forced and I did feel like some scenes with him could have been trimmed down. Overall, I really love this movie. I wouldn't call it the best CBM of all time, but it is easily one of Marvel's best films. And to know the Russo's are going to do the next Avenger films: I'm all in.

Connor Morley That's cool. I love this film and it's my second favorite, behind the Winter Soldier. I know some will say it is overrated, but I do prefer it to BVS. Then again, I personally did not like BVS(despite some redeeming elements). But hey, if anyone prefers BVS that's their view. Especially, if they can back it up. Also, this film solidfies that the Russo's will no doubt have a bright career post MCU. For instance, I want them to direct a Star Wars film. That would be amazing.

I can't help but wonder if BVS is much better than the movie it is now.. would WB let their director and casts have these kinds of exposure.. ESPECIALLY post-release of the movie

The Brother in the left got that Joss Whedon tired look. Hope Avenger 3 don't break them.

+Reece Ran he's always had that look, doesn't mean he's tired of it. I think Feige and Marvel learned their lesson with Age of Ultron and messed with Civil War a lot less

+Reece Ran I think the good thing is that there are two people at the helm. I can only imagine what it was like for Joss by himself having to make the movie and try to incorporate all these other easter eggs and characters.

Why did it take two directors to make a movie??

+qwe6348 Actually, it's more than 2 directors. They also asked other directors to help them with the action sequences.

+Cin3mattic that is probably what will happen. You will have a cosmic based battle and a more earth based battle. Expect characters like Black Widow and Hawkeye to stay on earth.

+losang yolmo well from wut I've heard lately is that they most likely aren't going to bring the Netflix characters into the movies... which would be a huge missed opportunity

Cin3mattic trust me they will. Marvel movies and marvel tv will work out their differences for Infinity War. noone can stop kevin feige from doing what he wants and the russo brothers have stated they want netflix characters in the movie.

Was it a perfect Marvel movie? No. But for me as a fan it came darn close. BUT 1:35 ► I feel like everything could have been avoided if Steve just explained everything to Iron Man before they started fighting each other. Tony offered him a good solution about the accords benefits and Buckys brain wash and Steve didn't even try. When it came to Zemos plan, it really only worked for Tony, Cap and Bucky. Without Zemo that FORCED fight between Cap and Tony wouldn't exist. Civil War was a great movie but a bit #overhyped in my opinion.

They nerfed Iron Man to death in this movie so that Captain America is able to give a fight to him which is just sad. As a comic fan, Iron Man should've been able to easily destroy both Cap and Bucky within 5 seconds, Russos are heavily biased towards Cap
