Yeah more or less. The skill expression in this game is about who is better at landing/avoiding CC. If you do get CCed then you are expected to die if your opponent doesn't mess up their combo, unless you're just straight up outgearing your opponent or you're running a niche defense focused build.

So is awakening ninja better at dueling or succession?

bro you prolly get asked all the time but whats your stance on the lack of overall super armors awakening ninja has, do you think they will ever add a super armor effect on serpent ascension ? the new hashasin class seems to really be able to counter awakening ninja

I'm not too sure what you mean by "my stance". I would say Succession is better than Awakening right now precisely because Awakening lacks protected damage in comparison. If you can only deal damage while everyone is CCed, then it becomes increasingly harder to do anything at all the more people there are in the fight. Awakening sort of makes up for it by being better at survival thanks to more and FG, so that's why I'm playing Awakening for now because I lack DP compared to the people I fight. Once I get more DP I will most likely switch to Succession. As for whether they'll add SA to Serpent Ascension, your guess is as good as mine. Pearl Abyss' balance decisions seem to be completely random to me. I heard they listen to the KR community only, so if you know someone who plays KR maybe they'll have a better idea of what PA might do next. I haven't fought any Hashashin yet so I can't comment on that.

Yeah I feel the same way about Pearl Abbyss decisions regarding balance, altho is a good thing that at least that they increased the speed animation and damage. Ive seen hashashing vs ninja awakening and its an absolute shitshow how easy is for the new class to dodge ninjas attacks and land CCs, hopefully this will make them add a few SA to the awakening mostly because they added SA to almost every class except for ninja. Also do you think if Drastic Measure had a full SA (not only in %100 rage) it would be more useful in pvp?

@@angramainyu1292 I think the main problem with Drastic Measure is that it exposes you to free damage without offering much damage in return. If it is full SA it would just be another Katana Shower at best.

@@lethalconcept1064 Well, I do think Awakening will need to be buffed in some way if PA wants to get people to play it again over Succession. But I think their approach is basically making the game more and more about SA trading, and less about outplaying with CCs. Gear will matter even more than it already does now, which isn't healthy for the game imo. As for the Ninja changes specifically, I think FG Serpent Ascension will give Awakening more protected damage in large scale, which it lacks compared to Succession. However, SA Katana Shower and SA Murderous Intent sounds like they'll be way better when fighting other Ninjas. So what I'm afraid of is that Ninjas may be forced to take SA Katana Shower or SA Murderous Intent just so they aren't at a disadvantage in mirror matches. If that happens, then all this change will do is make Awakening even more of a 1v1 specialized playstyle, rather than achieving balance between Awakening and Succession. We'll have to wait and see.

Nowadays, it might be better to get full PEN gear on seasonal first before doing anything else.

instead of trying to remember up, down RMB and things like that for combos i wonder if you can just remap keys and do that for a rotation.

The official policy doesn't allow use of macros, but I have heard of players who claim that 1:1 mappings are allowed. Your mileage may vary however.

@@deathdealerhype7819 that is what a macro is bud ... if you try to remap the keys to add several skills to one key it doesn t work , one key can only serve one function , that s why macros are invented where you have basically a master key for several keys ; which BDO does not allow...

With the way my gear was progressing there was never a point where Vell would push me to the next AP bracket, so I never had a reason to get it.

I'm wondering the same thing myself tbh, cause even with 2xTET Dawn Earrings @ 281 AP there are still some people who can survive full combos. But since we can't check other people's gear it's hard to say how much evasion they had.

Intel 9700K, NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti, 32 GB 3600Mhz C16 RAM. Idle in BA with no one near me I get around 200 FPS. In this video probably around 160-180 FPS due to combat + spectators.
