Lavish Venture thank you so much for watching!! 🤗 I have a Bachelor is Science in business administration with a specialization in finance, with a minor in accounting. I have the minor Bc I decided to go into accounting the start of my senior year. Luckily, most of the credits qualify as credits to take the cpa exam, but I’m short some; therefore, I’m going to grad school to get my remaining credits from the master of taxation program. To my understanding, isn’t a BBA in accounting the same as a BS in accounting? I could be wrong. Business admin is a science

Hi🤩 I have an accounting Q&A on my channel that answers that question in depth!! But long story short- I majored in finance & realized I didn’t want to pursue a career in finance. I always loved my accounting classes so I decided to follow my intuition & it’s definitely paid off!! But like everything in life, it was challenging but I’m so happy I made that decision 😊

Not a ton honestly! I have 1 solid friend from undergrad and also 1 solid friend currently in my graduate program! I have like acquaintances but rarely talk to them!!

I am in my junior year in accounting. Hard classes.

Basic math is used in accounting. Higher level math is used in finance & economics. Accounting is more about rules than math. If you like bookkeeping, tax preparation, and compliance in terms of accounting, then you’ll like accounting. Depending on the school you go to, there may be some higher level math in cost/managerial accounting classes.

Kailyn Jordan hi!! I think a minor in finance would be beneficial since they kinda compliment each other. I majored in finance and minored in accounting and it works well together. Or computer science minor is great as well since we are super computer reliant in accounting in today’s world 🤓

I’m majoring in accounting this fall and I’m looking for a laptop that would be best for my major. A MacBook seems to be the most reliable in general but I’ve heard that it’s not the best for an accounting student(I guess maybe bc of the software thats used for accounting). How has your experience having a MacBook as an accounting major been so far?

Teasiah Shayy the classes that I took that required certain software was compatible with my Mac! But sometimes I would do my work in the library on a PC because it’s definitely better. But I feel like that alone isn’t convincing enough for me to buy anything else besides a MacBook! I was able to do my work on it just fine!

You can still download windows 10 on a MacBook. You can still have best of both worlds with Mac OS and Windows OS on a single MacBook. There’s tons of videos if your interested in downloading Windows 10 on your MacBook
