Even though getting an IV like this is basically just fluids you could just as easily get by drinking, after being sick it's a good way to get fluids fast ESPECIALLY when you've been throwing up and it's harder to make yourself drink.

The speed the iv goes in doesn’t have anything to do with how dehydrated you are it’s the quality of the line which went in. So really that meant Lucy was more hydrated, also drinking a few litres of water throughout the day would’ve been just as good!

Ahhh I had the stomach bug this weekend too for my 21st birthday and Valentine’s Day dinner!

Health is something I thank God every day for - especially being I love working out. Also, I.Vs are great. Isotonic fluid will help you!! If you are dehydrated I suggest doing an I.V with hypotonic fulid which basically adds water into the cell (I'm dumb as a rock but this is what I'm learning in my anatomy class and lol it's actually helping me wow)
