Choose good branch in lower iit as at this time placement of lower branches decrease so don't take risk ultimately you have to study the branch in which you have interest

IIT Delhi and Bombay are gateway to the world if you are hard-working and disciplined. But I would highly discourage taking Textile, BSBE, Meta, Chemistry etc.

@@honeybirds5348 one option that I noticed is a circuital one. If you choose ISM and do decent there, I am sure you would get placed in Samsung or Microsoft. They hire at least 4-6 from Electrical every year for SDE Role.

@@honeybirds5348 Old IITs ke non-circuital mei placements bahut zyaada random hote. I have seen people getting placed in Salesforce, PhonePe, Rippling even on Day 5 & 6. Also one general advice, avoid IITs with higher no. of seats like BHU if you are taking non-circuital. It would be a nightmare getting placed there for "Open for All" Roles.
