You'll become more familiar with them in the hospital setting once you're on the floor etc. Scribing is also such a great way to pursue the premed path while directly working with different providers. Personally, everything I learned while working in the ER gave me a lot of great clinical experience, and it was a great transition for me to pursue clinical research :") You got this, and you'll build your own path

I’m thinking of becoming a medical scribe as well. Let me know what you think of the process and how difficult it would be for someone like me that doesn’t have a previous medical knowledge background. I’m going to be starting a medical terminology course in a few weeks. Oh, and where are you taking the course from? What program or website? Is it through a hospital or clinic? I’m sorry for all the questions but I want to do as much research as I can before I choose a program. On a different note, the books look very intriguing!

when i saw the new video on your channel i literally jumped out of my bed at 4:09 AM (yes, ik .... i should prob sleep if i plan on 'actually' being productive) BUT i can't believe i didn't catch it on the day of. i've really been needing some cafe.studyy mentality in my life recently. i took a gap year this year to study for a pre-med college entrance exam overseas AND i've been finding it really difficulty to physically and mentally put myself in a positive space to work towards accomplishing my goals. i've planned out everything i need to do but i can't seem to stop myself from losing sight of my goals and falling prey to the short-term wants and temptations. i think this is a struggle inherent to those taking a gap year but i was wondering if you had any advice on how to build the right mindset and approach to my problem??
